As a Supernatural fan, I recently attended the UK SN convention in Birmingham called Asylum. In attendance, as a surprise guest, was Travis Wester, who I can honestly say is one of the most intelligent, articulate, funny and downright adorable guys I have ever had the good fortune to meet.
Can anyone else say they were bowled over by Travis?

I can honestly say that Travis' talks were my favourite all weekend, the guy was hysterical! If not for his talks then for his reaction to the spider which seemed to follow him about the stage 
Thing 2 was particularly taken by him because he made a fuss of Georgina...
Also, his rocking out to an air guitar was pretty hilarious too! lol!
Then there was his rendition of Ghostfacers.....
The list is endless!! Haha!
Facerdude, I haven't seen Eurotrip although I will probably watch it after meeting Travis, if you ever get the chance to go to a con he attends then please go, none of us even knew he was going to be there until we turned up on the Friday to register! What a fantastic surprise though!!

Aye, one of the best comments of the weekend The guy was just fantastic.
I fell completely in love with both him and AJ, though I saw a lot less of AJ. Can't believe I missed them talking together. Wish I'd seen them with G as well, but there's not enough time to do everything. Deff want a picture with them next year if they go, I need to find me some money!

I was at the coffee lounge that DIDN'T decend into chaos, haha! I was quite brave actually - asked a fair few questions and surprised myself.
Oh and Thing 2 totally has the right idea. She will so do well in life!

Yeah, the joint talk was great Lol, although I'm pretty jealous that you guys saw the solo talk. I had no idea he actually wanted to BE Westley...! Or maybe I did...
Have you heard that it's possible there'll be a con next year solely for the Ghostfacers?

Yeah, I'm hoping I'll have some more news about those soon. Keep your fingers crossed!

I know, I thought the same, amazingly, because I'd gone along thinking that it would be fun but nothing too special because the big stars weren't gonna be there, and then we meet them and they're some of the nicest people we've ever met and we end up having probably a better time that we would if Jensen and Jared had actually been there... I purely am a a Travis/Lauren fan because of meeting them and finding out the sort of person they are. Obviously I thought Jim was a legend already because he's been playing Bobby, but I also was so pleasantly surprised by his kindness and wonderful sense of humor, and indeed humanity.
But yeah, this forum's about Travis, sorry! As far as next year is concerned, Wayne (the organiser of Aslyum, for those who don't know) has said that he doesn't want any guests he's had at a previous Asylum again next year, with the possible exception of one individual, and I think we all can read between the lines who that one person is. So it looks like Travis et al may not be invited back to Asylum.
However, the Ghostfacers convention is definitely being seriously considered, and Travis knows about it and I think he'd be up for it if he was free...
