Trudie Goodwin

Trudie took an extended break from The Bill in 2005 to work with the Christian Blind Mission in Nigeria, and to undertake a fund-raising walk through Patagonia, South America.

Prince William has admitted that he enjoys The Bill, and has also stated that June Ackland, played by Trudie is his favorite.

Trudie ended up in hospital after running headlong into a stuntman, on the set of The Bill, during a chase sequence.

Trudie doesn't like rain machines. One day on set she got so soaked that the dye came out of her uniform, and had blue underwear.

Trudie starred in The Bill from 1984 to 2006. When she left, she was the longest-serving actor on the show, and the only survivor from the pilot episode.
