Tucker Carlson is a conservative political commentator currently best known for formally being co-host of Crossfire, CNN's once-popular and lively political debate program. Crossfire aired nightly before a live studio audience from George Washington University's Jack Morton Auditorium in Washington, D.C. In 2002, Crossfire celebrated its 20th anniversary. Carlson left Crossfire in January 6, 2005 and the show was canceled on June 3, 2005.

Between June 18, 2004 and June 17, 2005 Carlson hosted a show on PBS called Tucker Carlson: Unfiltered. Each episode of Unfiltered normally

… More included a short commentary by Carlson, an interview with a guest about one political topic, and then a discussion about another topic with a panel of two regulars.

Carlson is also a political analyst for CNN, based in the network's Washington, D.C., bureau. Before The Situation, Unfiltered and Crossfire, Carlson was co-host of CNN's Spin Room.

Carlson currently hosts The Situation with Tucker Carlson, a light hearted news-themed show on MSNBC. On The Situation a stream of recent headlines are brought before Carlson and his two panelists, each of who reside on opposite ends of the political spectrum. This leads to fast paced, thought provoking discussions although far from comprehensive.

Since 1997, he has appeared weekly on Inside Politics with Judy Woodruff, the nation's first program devoted exclusively to politics.

Formerly a staff writer at the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette in Little Rock, Carlson is a contributor to New York Magazine and The Weekly Standard, as well as a columnist for Readers Digest. He has written for dozens of magazines and newspapers, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, GQ and Forbes.

Carlson attended Trinity College in Connecticut.

    A conservitave that I can actually stand. hide show

    This is Rare. Usually I just see most Conservitaves as mindless, but Tucker has some Redeeming qualities. He hosts an amazing show "The Situation", and doesnt just dismiss the people on the left like Bill O'Reily does. I really don't mind him too much, and as long as "The Situation" is still on, I will consider him one of the better people on the right.

    Tucker Carlson is just another brain dead moron. He reminds me of Pee Wee Herman with his stupid little tie. I don't appreciate the comments he made about Canada. I would like to put my fist through his deformed head. Tucker Carlson is the biggest dork I hide show

    I hope someday that Tucker Carlson can come to Canada so that we can adjust his attitude.I'd like to stuff that stupid tie in his ear.He would at least have a tie for a brain.It's sad that they let morons like this guy on TV. What a waste of skin he is. What a goof.I say feed him to the pigs.
