Ty Pennington

Ty sponsors an entire line of home decor at Sears. The line bears his name: "Ty Pennington Style."

In his last year of school, Ty was approached and signed by a modeling agent. He ended up doing print and television ads for Sprite, Diet Coke, Levi's & Macy's, among others.

Before "making it" in Hollywood, Ty ran his own online furniture business called Furniture Unlimited.

Ty is the ambassador for the Sears American Dream Campaign.

Ty was arrested on a DUI charge on May 5, 2007. He plead no contest to the charge and was charged a fine and given 90 days probation.

As of 2008, Ty lives in Venice, CA with his girlfriend Andrea Bock, who also happens to be his manager.

Ty attended Sprayberry High School, located in Marietta, Georgia.

Ty is the spokeperson for Aleve and the program "ADHD Experts on Call."

On May 15, 2007, Ty released the first issue of his quarterly magazine Ty Pennington at Home.

According to the TV Guide Channel, Ty is the highest paid endorser in America.

Ty earned two college degrees majoring in Art, one from Kennesaw College and one from The Atlanta Institute of Art. He worked as a carpenter and general contractor to finance his education.

Ty enjoys playing soccer.

Ty has won two Emmys-one in 2005, and one in 2006, and both for Outstanding Reality Program with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Ty was featured in People Magazine as one of their "Top 50 Bachelors" in 2002.

On January 15, 2005, Ty had to have emergency surgery for acute appendicitis while working in Atlanta on a house for Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. After the surgery, he continued to work on the project through email and phone calls. Just before the unveiling of the house, Ty surprised everyone by arriving at the site by ambulance and helping finish the house in time.

Ty is exactly 6 feet tall or 1.83 meters tall.

Ty lived with his mom, his stepdad, and his older brother when he was growing up.

Ty's book, Ty's Tricks, was published in 2003 and became a New York Times Best Seller.

Ty appears in Cindi Thompson's country music video I'm Gone.

Ty's mother is a psychologist.

Ty was kicked out of Boy Scouts as a child.

Ty has ADHD type 1. He was diagonised in elementry school with behavioural problems however wasn't diagonsed with ADHD until he was 17. He now takes Addell-RX daily.

Favorite meal: Blackened tuna with black beans and rice.
