  • Quotes

    • Ty: (About "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition") Our show proves that some pretty incredible things can happen when people come together.

    • Ty: (When asked what makes him "tick") It's about the joy of doing things for others.

    • Ty: (in an interview with the E! network) I would strip down naked, and swing from the blinds in my classroom as a child.

    • Ty: (Speaking on the terrible devastation of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.) If you lose the sounds coming out of New Orleans, you lose part of the American language. I realize we're just a TV show, but we feel we have a real obligation to let these people know we haven't forgotten about them, that we'll do whatever we can to make things right.

    • Ty: (Speaking of the daunting task of rebuilding a home in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina) It was completely different. Usually we help out one family and build one house...It's tough to do one house in a neighborhood that doesn't have any houses.

    • Ty: (After going to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina) I was not prepared for what I saw down there. When you see it firsthand, it looks like Hiroshima.

    • Ty: (About "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition") The one thing about our show is some pretty incredible things can happen when people come together and help people in need.

they refused to help me I am handicapped with a heart condition . Got threatened by two of their employees. I can barely walk 2 block I have a failing heart and limited time. Their answer was to delete my account it was under chrissyo. I have waited over 5 year , had my points and stars. I lost my home because of the bank collapsing. I have been in homeless shelters and slept in the park . I am now severely ill. I ask why they had never called me. they never answer asked the board and got ignored . I have finally got into housing program was homeless for 10 years and ill I had surgeries on my heart and it is about 35% use. I suffered 4 mild strokes. All I wanted was a car to get to the doctors offices , get my scripts(RX) and go to the grocery store. medicare does not pay for this so I had to try to get around by myself I have fallen more than a dozen times because it is exhausting to me the bus drops you of most time 6 to 8 blocks away. It has caused me to break my ankle and foot from falling. They know all this that happens and all I get is threats. all i ever seen on their time line is another person who is sick die while waiting. why . we need help too there are no programs in Ohio that help with cars. I have written the tonight show, oprah, ellen degenerous and the news through twitter and they said i never made a request for a car. I printed it out and every statement. How can you support such an agency . Us that are ill no longer have help since the health care over hall. I been in tears and prayed for help even kept asking the refuse I have been on the waiting list longer than any one they keep giving to the healthy and if you are ill they want die and then they will post a notice of the death of the person who was waiting. Their answer is to not answer the phone, have employees threaten me on facebook. then they deleted my account . christina omalley 626 walnut ave ne apt 215, canton, OH 44702 3302096567.moreless
