At first, Tyler wasn't going to take the role of Mauro (a deaf mute boy), in the movie, Collateral Damage, because he thought they should have gotten a real deaf mute boy and he wanted some lines in the movie. But, he took the role after meeting the main star, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Tyler's very first time acting in a movie was in the movie Men of Honor. The movie premiered in 2000.
