While growing up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Tyron often explored his creative side as a child through building things, such as tree forts, bicycles and eventually a log cabin, which he and his mother and brother actually lived in for three years. At the age of 18, a talent scout stopped him on the street and asked him if he wanted to be in commercials, he didn't say yes immediately, but eventually took up the offer.
Leitso was quickly immersed into the world of modeling and commercials, with acting taking a back seat for a few years. But the urge to perform in front of a camera
… More never left him and, after taking some training and working as an extra on many of the Vancouver based productions such as the "X-Files" and "Millennium," casting directors began to take notice.
His television experience includes roles in UPN's "Breaker High," USA Network's "First Wave," TNT's "Shutter Speed," CBS's "The John Denver Story" and the NBC/PAX series "Mysterious Ways." Tyron also had one of the lead roles in the first season of the CBC teen drama "Edgemont Road," which began airing in Canada in September 2000 and now airs internationally.
Tyron also starred in two major projects for ABC Television and Hallmark. He played the lead role of ‘Prince Alfred' in the live action remake of "Snow White" and lead role of ‘Karl' in the three-part mini-series "Dinotopia."
Tyron also co-stars opposite Sarah Polley in the feature "My Life Without Me," produced by Oscar winning director Pedro Almodovar and has a lead in the feature "House of the Dead" which will be distributed in October, 2003.

    OMG I love him... he is so hott and im totally goion to marry him so you all can back off! hide show

    I loved him in Dinotopia, Egdemount, and my personal favorite WONDERFALLS! I was so mad when it got cancelled but tyron wont be forgotten! He was so sexy in wonderfalls and im so glad that him and jaye ended up together i hated heidi or whatever her name was lol but back to tyron! OMG did i mention how hott he was! well ya i cant wait to see what else he is in! He should get another T.V. show cause he is a great actor and super hott! lol i say that alot buts its very very true! so ya he is mine!

    I started watching the wonderful series "wonderfalls" about 6 weeks ago!
    I'm gutted to find its been cancelled!
    I cant wait to see more Tyron Leitso on my tv screen in the uk!
    I really wished there was a 2nd series as I would love to find out if Jay and Eric got it together and had a happy ending!
