Vin Diesel, a twin, was born July 18, 1967 in Manhattan, New York. His twin's name is Paul Vincent. His mother is an astrologist,and having very little or no contact with his real father, Vin looked to his step-father for fatherly guidance during his years growing up. Vin's road to fame in the acting world began at age seven because he was caught vandalising a thearter run by his step-father and was paid $20 to act there every so often.

… More career in mind. He dropped out shortly after and jump-started his screenwriting career by writing a script for a movie called Multi-Facial. He decided to bring the script to life and using resources around him, he made his first independent movie. During this time, he worked as a bouncer at a night club to help finance his production. He entered Multi-Facial into the Cannes festival in 1995. It was in making this move that got him his break in the professional film industry. Steven Spielberg had viewed the film and, noting how well he integrated himself into his role, created a special character "Private Carpazo" for Vin in his film "Saving Private Ryan" which went on to become a five time academy award winner.

From there on, he got a part as the voice for the Iron Giant in the Disney film "The Iron Giant". Next, he starred as Richard B. Riddick, an escaped convict trapped on an alien world with survivors from a ship crash in "Pitch Black" a sci-fi thriller, a movie that instantly set into the viewers' minds that this actor was definitely on his way to the top.

He later accepted the role of Dominic Torretto for the action based street car racing film "The Fast and The Furious". Dominic Torretto, auto shop owner and mechanic by day, street car racing gang leader by night. The movie comes with all the perks from the illegal scene - everything from hijacking cargo trailers, police, wild parties, to desert car racing show downs and black market deals. Quite the exciting life, not to mention very dangerous. Even the end is action packed. Take a look for yourself, there is lots more to see.

    Okay,I say that Vin Diesel is one of the best action stars ever known.Why doesn't anybody put this dude on a action show?I really like him in XXX and Fast And Furious.He is one of the coolest actors that have ever been in a action movie.He's kind of like Dwanye Johnson because they are both action stars.I really like this dude and someone should give this dude a show that's action or at least be a Kids choice Awards host.I really like this dude and he is one of the best well known actors at being in a action movie.

    Vin Diesel is the BEST actor ever! Okay, I'm obviously kidding. But, Vin is not a terrible actor. I mean, he is great in action films, but that's about it. I personally enjoy most of his movies, but when he's not doing stunts, he's just a goon (other than in "Boiler Room").

    Vin is absolutely the best actor/person who has his faculties together in holywood these days. He can work with the best and the worst conditions. I love his bad dog style yet he has a superrior ability to make a go at semi-parenting on tv. Vin is so #1. hide show

    Most actors these days are so script minded, they can't even begin to see what is right in front of their very eyes.
    Vin is right there in it from moment a to z. He never misses a beat. He was born to be a rebel, yet he has such a delicate innocence to him. Sexy, oh yes baby, but also dedicated to work 100%. Nothing he does is half baked, it either is or is not. Vin is my favorite actor next to Hugh Laurie from House MD. Vin is so very good with kids. They need Pacifier Two. I would like to see him exterminate the Merinator (Jerk), and kind of be around to watch the Plummer family grow. He dosen't have to marry her or any of that but he could be Baby Sitter part 2 and send Julie off somewhere to activate that chip --the ghost--. Just a thought.

    He is so handsome in all the movies he acted in. My favorite movie was A man Apart. I am not the only one that might think that. He has in spired me to do what I want to do. There are alot of fans all over the world that thinks and knows he is the hottest man alive today.
