Hi. I am a huge Vince Edwards fan. I have been trying to get his tv series Matt Lincoln released on dvd. This show was produced by Universal in 1970. There were sixteen episodes plus the pilot film titled DIAL HOT LINE. Vince played a psychiatrist who ran a walk-in clinic and a telephone hotline for mostly troubled teenagers. This show would be so welcome in today's world. The theme of the series was "Somebody Cares". Vince exuded empathy in the role of Dr. Matt Lincoln. The scripts were wonderful. The guest stars were top notch. Of course the show was great because of Vince Edwards. He was an extremely underrated actor. He deserves to be remembered as does Matt Lincoln. If you feel as I do you can e-mail Universal and let them know how you feel about this series. e-mail: USHE.consumerrelations@bydeluxe.com. July 9 would have been Vince's 80th birthday. He passed away in 1996 from pancreatic cancer. I am happy to see he is still remembered all over the internet. People are looking to buy his two series. Ben Casey and Matt Lincoln. You can try e-mailing Timeless Media Group info@timelessmusic.com also Shout!Factory info@shoutfactory.com. You have to make your requests known. It can only help.
