Vince McMahon .... the man of Sports Entertainment. You can go up to just about anybody and ask them who he is - and they will know. Vince took over the Federation after his Father, Vince McMahon Senior, and created a worldwide phenominon which still carries on today. Vince McMahon is considered by many as being the founder of Sports Entertainment he coronated this many feel when he created WWF WrestleMania 1 which was broadcast live on Closed Circuit Television or CCTV on March 31st, 1985 from Madison Square Garden. At that event he combined Wrestlers and Stars.

More In 2002 the McMahon family was getting sued by World Wildlife Foundation. They forced the McMahon Family to change the name. So Vince McMahon and his wife Linda agree to change the name. So it was World Wrestling Federation to the World Wrestling Entertainment. That caused the a saying, "Get the F' out!"

In 2006 Vince started to do a movie production called WWE Films. So far the WWE Films made two movies and premired it. See No Evil, Starting Glen Jacobs, who is Kane in the WWE, played Jacob Goodnight, a killer who takes out eyes of his victoms. The Marine, Starting John Cena, who played John Triden, a ex-marine who left the Marines because he went A-waol and goes home to his wife Kate (played by Kelly Carlson). The two of them goes on a road trip and stop at a gas station. When all of a sudden a bad guy name Rome (played by Robert Patrick) who is wanted by the police, kidnaps Kate and John is very mad and goes after her.

In 2007 WWE Flims are releasing another movie, called The Condemned, starting Steve William, who is known in the WWE as Stone Cold Steve Austin, whose Vince McMahon hates.

On June 11, 2007, WWE aired a segment at the end of RAW that featured McMahon entering a limousine moments before it exploded. The show went off-air shortly after, and WWE.com reported the angle within minutes as though it were a legitimate occurrence, proclaiming that McMahon was "presumed dead." Although this was the fate of the fictional "Mr. McMahon" character, no harm came to the actual person (the "presumed death" of Mr. McMahon was part of a storyline). WWE later acknowledged to CNBC that he was not truly dead.

The June 25, 2007 edition of RAW was scheduled to be a three-hour memorial to "Mr. McMahon". However, due to the actual sudden death of Chris Benoit, the show opened with Vince McMahon appearing in an empty arena, acknowledging that his reported death was only of his character as part of a storyline. This was followed by a tribute to Benoit that filled the three-hour timeslot.

  • Todd Grisham: is he worth our time to be on RAW?

Hey! I got to explain everything to you about this topic. The reason why I created this topic is because of what have been happened lately. See I am mad at Todd Grisham, for his lies on WWE HEAT on wwe.com. When did this started? It started last month, during WWE RAW Superstar, TrevorMore Murdoch's match against WWE RAW Superstar, Hardcore Holly. Todd said that Trevor's tag team partner, Lance Cade is on the injury list and he would be out two to three months. Weeks later, on the February 4th, 2008 edition of RAW, Lance Cade made his return to RAW, 100% better, and he was ready to compete with Trevor Murdoch in tag team action against, Hardcore Holly and Cody Rhodes. Upon that, during the February 22nd, 2008 edition of HEAT, during Lance Cade's match against Brian Kendrick, two more lies happened from Todd Grisham. The first one was about the weight difference between Lance Cade & Brian Kendrick. Todd said," So, Brian Kendrick, at 185lbs, against Lance Cade, who roughly 285lbs." and I am thinking, Wait a mintue, didn't Lillian said that Lance Cade was 282lbs? Yeah, she did. Todd Grisham is a liar! I knew that was a lie. The second one came when Todd said that Lance Cade is taking a breather, talk smack, high-fiving his buddy Trevor Murdoch and which I didn't see Lance doing that. Throught the whole entire match, it sounds like Todd Grisham and his fellow commentator, Josh Matthews, doesn't give a crap about Lance Cade. They don't give an ounce of respect to Lance Cade, like Jim Ross does as well as I do too. When I mean does, I really mean that Jim Ross has respect to him as well as I. I am wondering for any of my tv.com friends to want to oppinion their thought about Todd Grisham. By the way, didn't I mention, he host the Top Ten moments of the WWE Slammy Awards that was on wwe.com last night? Well he did and he make an fool out of himself. I HATE TODD GRISHAM!

I think that Vince McMahon has made some good business chocies and some bad choices. I think that he has treated Smackdown as a second fiddle, so he might as well just scrap it. Since he treats Raw as gold, it would make more sense if he just didn't bother trying to fool everyone into thinking that he cares for Smackdown and ECW when he doesn't care that much as much as Raw. I am not a fan of his and I will never be. The mainstream celebrities never really care for his product and there is a good reason. Thank you.

Vincent Kennedy McMahon is a great wrestling promoter hide show

Vincent Kennedy McMahon is a great wrestling promoter bot he just is not the chairmen he is a great person. He has the WWE go over to see the troops every Christmas, and he has done a lot with kids like reading programs, and with make a wish foundation. Vince worked his way up in the wrestling business Vince McMahon bought the company from his father in 1982. Vince created the empire known as the WWF from 1982-2002 then now called the World wrestling Entertainment. Vince McMahon is consider the founder of sports entertainment. He created the Super bowl of wrestling in WrestleMania. Vince has also branched out of the wrestling business. Including the XFL in 2001 and the World Bodybuilding Federation in 1991. The WBF lasted 18 months... the XFL only one season. Although Vince McMahon's XFL was considered a failure, their broadcasts used the Sky Cam (a camera which was suspended over the field of play), a technology developed for XFL broadcasts and now used by the NFL. Vince has help a lot of wrestlers like Stone Cold, The Rock Triple H, Eddie Guerrero and Shawn micheals. Vince has had some great rivalries with Stone Cold(made attitude era) The Rock Ric Flair Triple H Hulk Hogan The Undertaker, and Shawn micheals(McMahonism VS God) If You don't think that Vince is one of the all time greats YOU'RE FIRED!!!!!!

We might be beefin in the ring, but outside it, he gonna be one of my best friends. At least thats what I'm planning. This dude is a sheer genius! Even though he be buggin when he in the ring, he just be so dang funny, especially when he switching when he makes his entrance. But, bottom line: Vince Mcmahon is #1!

McMahon's legacy as a promoter will be legendary, however, the person himself is less than respectable and will be remember as a guy who only cares about making millions for the business and ignoring several touchy issues in wrestling. hide show

On a scale of 1-10, as a promoter no doubt McMahon is a 10, as a person one would have to rate the person somewhere around a 1 or four. It's been obvious over the last decade or so it's clear McMahon's ego and his mannerism have taken a dive for the worse.

Despite all the tragedies in wrestling there's been very little done in terms of the health, sanity and overall perception of wrestling to the public. The wellness program the WWE has in place is shaky at best and is far, far too limited in it's use that it's almost a joke.

McMahon and the company have shown over time to care more about the business, money side things than everything else. The steroids scandal in the 90's was handled poorly by the WWE which basically denied the use. The WWE since still stands by this position and gives very little in terms of taking responsibility over their wrestlers.

It's not surprising to see McMahon with his critics, as he and the company bring this all on themselves. His tremendous contribution to wrestling, however, will never be taking away. He put the other companies out of business.

He's built up superstars from other feds that were underused -Jericho, Guerrero, and the late Chris Benoit and really gave them the opportunity to showcase their talents.

He created with input one of the most popular spectables in all wrestling named it "Wrestlemania" and from then on has created an empire, a monopoloy, on prowrestling. He is without a doubt, a smart business man. As a person, though, I can't say I admire him. I'am a wrestling fan who watches wrestling from any company, however, looking at Vince over the past decades has made me lose respect for him the way he approaches several touchy issues.

Instead, of standing up for what's right and trying to clean up the business more, instead as a businessman he cares more about the business side of things.

One in a million! hide show

He is not just the chairman of World Wrestling Entertainment, but Vincent Kennedy McMahon is truly one of the greatest people ever to be known from wrestling itself. He has really worked his way up ever since he bought the business from his father back in 1982. He has been a play-by-play announcer, wrestler, and of course the man in charge. The boss. You don't cross the boss. Because he is the boss. And that is the bottom line, because I said so.
