His lines in The Movie Haggard, were completely unscripted, as Bam Margera usually just got him worked up and let him ad lib.

He appeared in an episode of Celebrity Deathmatch against his nephew Bam Margera.

He was eventually converted into a persona non grata with the Jackass cast and crew and all of his scenes have been removed from the theatrical release of Jackass: Number Two due to the scandal surrounding his arrest. However, those scenes will be available in the DVD release.

He is a childhood friend of Ron Bennington of the Ron and Fez Show.

On Friday, August 18, 2006, he was arrested at the Colorado Mills Mall in Lakewood, Colorado for supposedly touching two underage girls inappropriately. He was held with bail at $50,000. That following Monday he posted bond at about 10 p.m.

He was crowned the "Binge Bowl Champ" on the Ron and Ron Show (now Ron & Fez) in Florida. He went into a coma two weeks after this happened.

He suffers from a lazy eye.

Vito has a dent inhis neck from getting hit by a bat as a child. Inside of the dent he has a tattoo of a Heartagram.

Don Vito under went the Gastric Bypass surgery and is now down to 250 LBS.

Over the course of the show Viva La Bam, he has owned 6 different cars.
