Ratchet reluctantly calls upon Wheeljack for back-up in his mission to retrieve the third Iacon relic. Upon arriving at the location, the two Autobots are confronted by Soundwave, but they get a one-of-a-kind opportunity when Soundwave's minion, Laserbeak, is disabled.

With Optimus Prime having lost all memories of his life as a Prime and psychologically reverting back to his time before the war as Orion Pax, Megatron manipulates him into joining the Decepticons with the intention of using him to decipher records seized from Iacon. As the Autobots try to track Optimus Prime, Jack learns from Ratchet that the card key is connected to Vector Sigma and that they must find a way to get to Cybertron. They ultimately decide on using the Decepticon space bridge to return to Cybertron, but must locate it first. Starscream returns to theNemesisand manages to steal energon from the vault, but when a Decepticon walks his way, he hides in the closest room, where Orion is seen working. He immediately adresses him as Optimus Prime and aims his missiles at him.

The Leader creates a dome of gamma energy that mutates everyone in the Cube into gamma monsters. Now, it's up to the Avengers to get inside the Cube and shut down the gamma dome, but will they wind up just like everyone else in the Cube? Meanwhile, Hawkeye confronts the Black Widow again.

Graviton, who has been unconscious and imprisoned in the Raft for ten years after an experiment he performed per Nick Fury's request went awry, finally awakens and escapes. Now, Graviton is bent on getting even with Fury and with the power to control gravity, which he acquired from the accident, this goal seems quite feasible.
