Will Geer, I may only be familar with his work on "The Waltons" as grandpa Zeb Walton, but I thought that he was a great actor and was superb in that role.
Even though this role was in his golden years of life, I found that Will brought a lot of spunk, vim and vigor, and some comedy to the role of Grandpa. I loved the way that his character interacted with the other characters on the show, mainly with Grandma. With them, it was like a comedy team, with Will's character being the comedian and Ellen's character (grandma) being the straight man.
In all, I found Will Geer's acting in "The Waltons" very good, and that since he died all those years ago, he'll be missed.
