Will Patton, the oldest of four siblings, was born on June 14, 1954, in Charleston, SC. Painfully shy as a child, performing became a way for him to connect with people. His parents divorced when he was a young teenager, and he spent less than a year at the North Carolina School for the Arts before he was expelled. He spent time as a young adult in various odd jobs while waiting for an acting break.
He published a small book in 1999 called Lassitudes of Fire that chronicled his difficult and struggling years as an actor. It is a must read for any true Patton fan.

Will Patton is a very cool actor, but he's really only had supporting roles in movies. You really believe that he got into acting because he loves it for what it is. You'll never see him in any tabloids and you won't hear any gossip about him. In his roles, you sense more realism than many other actor's who are considered more talented than he. Of all of his roles in all of his movies, my favorite has to be "Gone in Sixty Seconds."

Will Patton is a veteran of tv and movies. hide show

Decent actor but probably as well known as other big stars since he primarily does only supporting roles. However, as what Numbers show, he really knows how to deliver a role.

He mainly plays either a bad guy or a clean honest cop but usually they're both very intense. Movies like "No Way Out" with Kevin Costner, "Gone in Sixty Seconds" with Nicholas Cage are a few movies to watch him for. He always leaves an impact usually and the few movies that really use him well are decent movies.

Reminds me a bit of Charles Bronson type of actor. Usually involved in a lot of action stuff but can be serious when he needs to be.
