Yukari has made a guest appearance at numerous special events throughout Japan indluding the "Tokyo Game Show Autumn 1998" on October 10-11, 1998; the "Tokyo Character Show" on July 23, 2000; the "Seiyuu Talk Live at Commit Akihabara" on December 28, 2000; the "Dears Festival" on May 2, 2004 and the "Sweet Milky Way at Zepp Fukuoka" on September 1, 2007.
Yukari has stated that she'd rather stay at home and play crossword puzzles rather than going out. She also admits to talking to herself sometimes.
Yukari has appeared in several popular Japanese magazines in which she has done photo shoots, news reports, interviews, etc. Some such magazines she's been featured in includes several issues of Ani Raji Grand Prix, Voice Animage, Seiyuu Grand Prix, Dengeki G's Magazine, and Animedia.
Yukari has been a personality on two of her own radio shows that aired weekly broadcasts. Her two radio shows were "Tokyo Majin Gakuen" and "Pita Pita Angel Ace".
Yukari has voiced characters in several CD dramas including her role as Minamo Kurokawa in Yubisaki Milk Tea, Sherman-chan in Narue no Sekai, Kasuno in Sekirei, Nanoha Takamachi in Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's Sound Stag and Rui Kosaka in Jinki: Extend.
On the TV anime Otogi-Jushi Akazukin, Yukari performed the 1st opening theme "Douwa Meikyuu" and the 2nd opening theme "Princess Rose" by herself as well as the 2nd ending theme "Egao no Takaramono" along with fellow seiyuu Miyuki Sawashiro and Kanako Tateno.
Yukari admits that she's not very skilled when it comes to cooking (other than baking). She hasn't cooked anything for family or friends in several years.
During her high school years Yukari once held a part-time job working at an amusement park.
In early 2001, Yukari teamed up with fellow seiyuu Yui Horie and formed a 2-person singing group called Yamato Nadeshiko. The two released two singles as a unit including "Mou Hitori no Watashi?" and "Merry Merrily".
On the TV anime Kasimasi - Girl Meets Girl, Yukari performed the 6th ending theme "Michishirube". This ended episode #11 of the series only.
Yukari made her debut as a seiyuu in 1997 when she was offered to play the role of Yoshinaga in the TV anime, Tenchi in Tokyo.
Some of Yukari's hobbies includes making sweets (especially cakes from scratch), poetry and making ribbon bows.
Throughout her singing career Yukari has been formerly associated with record company, Konami. As of April 1, 2007 Yukari is currently employed under King Records.
Before becoming a seiyuu Yukari attended and graduated from the Japan Institute of voiceover acting ATSUBIJON.
Throughout her seiyuu career, Yukari was previously employed under the talent label, Arts Vision. As of January 1, 2007 she is now employed under I'm Enterprise, a subsidiary of Arts Vision.
Yukari stands in at 157 cm (5 feet, 2 inches) tall and has blood type A.
She is also a singer.
Yukari: I want to be a traditional idol, and even went to idol school for lessons when I was in high school. I don't like the current idols.
Yukari: I have never been to a public bath before. I'd like to try it and drink the bottled milk after the bath.
