Zachary: (On what he would say to the fans who brought back "Chuck" from almost being canceled) From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for believing in the vision and the collective talent that brings Chuck together. I hope that we do right by you with this next season. I hope you are all more than pleased with the direction and vision of the show. I hope that more viewers come to find it so you don't have to fight so hard next year.

Zachary:
(on the reception "Chuck" received at Comic-Con in 2007) I almost cried. I couldn't believe it. It was the first time it was really shown to the general public. Two thousand people or something are there and giving a standing ovation. We're standing in the back and I just started tearing up a little bit! I was like 'Oh my God, these people actually liked what we did!'
-
Zachary: I get to come to work in Hollywood and get paid - let's be honest - ridiculous amounts of money to do what I love to do, to play make-believe and be embraced by strangers who think far more of you than they ought to. It's ridiculous.
-
Zachary: If I'm ever going to be happy in life, I'm going to have to find a woman who likes, not likes, really loves watching her husband play video games. Because that would be…that's a deal breaker right there. 'Honey, I'm tied up with something right now' 'Oh that's okay honey, I love watching you go.'
-
Zachary: I want to do everything. I want to do action movies, I want to do comedies, I want to do romantic comedies, I want to do drama. I just think the world that I get to work in is such an amazing place. I hope I get to do it for the rest of my life.
-
Zachary: As an actor, you hope for a role where you get to wear multiple hats and to do action, comedy, romance, drama, mystery, all in one little hour-long block on Mondays at 8 p.m. It's a dream, man. When you get to make people laugh and blow sh*t up, you know you've got something good.
-
Zachary: (on not wearing clothes to bed) I'm naked. I don't understand the point of wearing clothes to bed. Why? Unless you're really cold or sick and you've got to layer up to sweat it out.
-
Zachary:
(on kissing guest star Rachel Bilson on "Chuck") She's 5'2" and I'm 6'4" - lots of apple boxes were used to do those scenes, which were steaming hot.
-
Zachary: (on getting his groove on) I can destroy the dance floor. I think life should be a musical. I always hate it when people watch a musical and they go, 'Oh, it's so unrealistic, no one just breaks into song in the middle of their day.' Yeah they do - if they're me.
-
Zachary: (on his inner nerd) I'm more Chuck than I'm not Chuck. Pretty much my whole life, actually, I've felt like a nerd. Growing up I was always the best friend to the girls, never the boyfriend.
-
Zachary: I went from everyday scraping-it-out to Chuck on a show called
Chuck. Getting this show was like Chuck getting government secrets implanted in his brain. You just kind of fear it and embrace it.
-
Zachary: I have simple jeans tastes: Gap 1969, Guess, Banana Republic, and Diesel.
-
Zachary: To be able to go and just love on your crew and your cast and your fans, it really makes a huge difference.
-
Zachary:
(about working with McG) Working with
McG was a dream. I love that guy so much. He's so talented and I love his energy.
-
Zachary: The money and the power and the fame and all of the things that come with Hollywood, they can twist up real quick.
-
Zachary:
(about his character in the show "Chuck") It's so frustrating because the writers have vowed to not put a gun in Chuck's hands through the whole first season... I want to shoot a gun so bad!
