    • Zachary: (Zachary on his new movie Star Trek and Obama) This is a franchise that offers hope for unity, and so does Barack Obama. When this movie comes out, and Obama is President, hopefully there will be some parallels.

    • Zachary: I don't immerse myself in the Internet chatter because it opens you up to a whole source of danger.

    • Zachary: The interesting thing about my character 'Sylar' is that my strengths as an actor seemed to go completely against the shape of a character in the shadows. I stepped into this character and then realized how much there was to play with.

    • Zachary: There's a group that calls itself the Sarmy-or Sylar's Army- and it's dedicated to the support of my character, and they don't like it when he's disparaged. Their slogan is "Every villain needs a legion of evil supporters." But what's funny is they do great charity work. It's never bad to have an army.

    • Zachary: What scares me? Oh, now that's a big question. I don't know what scares me- cockroaches, nuclear apocalypse. Fear is an interesting thing. It has a place in all of our lives. I try to be as fearless as possible. I don't always succeed, but I like to think I try.

    • Zachary: (on which story he likes the most on Heroes)
I think I tend to be drawn to, a lot of the stories have really strong family elements. I'm really drawn to that element of it. I think that's one of the biggest hooks of the show for me, is like, what do these powers do to the relationships in everybody's lives? I really feel like the dynamic in the Bennett family is really compelling and really complicated.

    • Quinto: When Horn Rimmed Glasses gets me in captivity, he's kind of merciless in trying to get at the root of what I'm doing and why I'm doing what I'm doing. You really see Sylar's anger, the darkness that comes out. I don't like being in captivity, and I don't like being overpowered.

    • Zach: (On how his Heroes character Sylar absorbs other Hero's talents) They haven't told me. The impression I was operating under was he actually ingested them, but I don't know. It's the question I'm most often asked.

  • Zachary Quinto = AWESOMENESS

Zachary Quinto is the personification of awesomeness. He's an incredibly great actor, I just absolutly adore his role as Sylar, since he does it perfectly and I simply can't imagine anyone who would do a better performance than him. Heroes is on my Top 5 show no doubt, even leading that list, so Zachary Quinto always had my attention. Sylar had interesting character development, and going from psycho to a good guy it's no easy thing to do, but Quinto showed us his versality, and his acting skills are proven to be amazing. I hope Heroes returns for another season, and hopefully Zachary will entertain us with other roles in the future, as well.moreless
  • Sylar could not have been played by anyone else.

Zachary Quinto, most people will know as Sylar from cult show Heroes.... and personally, I think the casting department should be awarded for their choice of actor. He is scary looking and gives me the chills watching his character on screen. His looks also earned him the role of young Spock in the new Star trek movie (released in 2009) and had roles in 24, CSI, Charmed, and Six Feet Under to name a few. This man is amazing and will go far should his Heroes era ends, I only hope that he does not fall victim to typecasting. Creepy bloke.moreless
