  • Zachary Quinto = AWESOMENESS

Zachary Quinto is the personification of awesomeness. He's an incredibly great actor, I just absolutly adore his role as Sylar, since he does it perfectly and I simply can't imagine anyone who would do a better performance than him. Heroes is on my Top 5 show no doubt, even leading that list, so Zachary Quinto always had my attention. Sylar had interesting character development, and going from psycho to a good guy it's no easy thing to do, but Quinto showed us his versality, and his acting skills are proven to be amazing. I hope Heroes returns for another season, and hopefully Zachary will entertain us with other roles in the future, as well.
  • Sylar could not have been played by anyone else.

Zachary Quinto, most people will know as Sylar from cult show Heroes.... and personally, I think the casting department should be awarded for their choice of actor. He is scary looking and gives me the chills watching his character on screen. His looks also earned him the role of young Spock in the new Star trek movie (released in 2009) and had roles in 24, CSI, Charmed, and Six Feet Under to name a few. This man is amazing and will go far should his Heroes era ends, I only hope that he does not fall victim to typecasting. Creepy bloke.
  • A great actor, who finally gets to show some depth

I'm very excited about this season of heroes since it appears Zachary will be able to show some depth this year. No longer a evil killing boogieman he is now struggling to be human. It is a much more dynamic story line and Zachary is a fantastic actor so I'm sure he'll pull it off well. So far he has been great! I'm also very excited to see how he does as the new Spock. I have great expectations, but I'm sure he'll live up to them. Overall, he is just great to watch. It may help that he is incredibly cute, even when he's a terrifying monster.
  • Hmmm Sylar, is there a more good looking bad guy?

Really when I started watching Heroes I fell in love with Sylar. All twisted, murdering, clock fixing weirdness that is Sylar, i can fully admit this. Really doesn't every girl have a soft spot for the bad guy?? I think Quinto is for sure an underrated actor and one of the best on the show. He bad ass, sexy and just down right sinful. Add to that super acting skills make for one of the best actors on tv right now. Not many people can pull off a villain as well as he can. Personally Im very jealous of Maya being able to get it on with him. ;)

Zachary was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA on June 2nd, 1977.

Zachary got into acting in 2000, with a role on the pilot of The Others.

Since then Zachary has appeared in many small roles in several television shows including CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Lizzie McGuire, Six Feet Under, and Crossing Jordan.

He is probably best known for his role on the third season of 24, as the CTU analyst Adam Kaufman. He only appeared in the show for one season, but it is possible for his character to return at a later date.

His most recent role as of 2008 is on the show, Heroes, as the mystery villain, Sylar.

Ten Reasons Why I Adore Zachary Quinto:

    1. Psycho-Killer Sylar / Mama's Boy Gabriel Gray in Heroes - ZQ was not supposed to be in Heroes Season 2 but writers loved him so much, they made him a regular.

    2. Tori's Gay Best Friend, Sasan, in So NoTORIous.

    3. Spock! in upcoming Star Trek.

    4. His Gene Kelly Award for Pirates of Penzance.

    5. He's smart (read his interviews)

    6. He loves his Sarmy :0)

OK from numbers 7-10, I would totally be blabbing about his hotness:

    7. Those eyebrows

    8. That sexy voice

    9. The shirtless scene with Maya

    10. Still don't get it? Zach is hot AND talented

they should have given him his break a long long time ago.
  • Zachary Quinto is, simply put, my favourite actor, who portrays my favourite character Sylar, in my favourite show Heroes. What more need be said? Well, besides the reasons.

I'm going to be perfectly honest; I'm basing Zachary Quinto's talent and ability on one single role, in Heroes as the villainous Sylar. I haven't seen any of his other roles, therefore I can't judge him on any of those; however, I believe it is tribute to his fine skills that, after only seeing him play one character, he is inedibly etched in my memory. His performance is outstanding, and stands out more than any other in a show full of skilled and talented actors.

Of course Quinto's character is helped by superb writing and unexpected twists in his plotline, but still, that alone isn't enought to create the unforgettable, spectacular character who will remain timeless within Heroes. That is because he has added a depth to Sylar, and made the character his own, dominating the show with his sinister attitude, with his intentions wholey focussed on claiming the abilities of others.

People complain, at times, that his story is too repetitive and unoriginal; the villain killing the heroes. I, on the other hand, disagree entirely; while his journey is, yes, predictable, that is only because he, like other characters, is fulfilling a role he alone is meant too. And it is Quinto's ability to surprise and astound that helps keep it fresh.

In Season Two, even fans of his character complained because his storyline was entwined with that of two new, unpopular characters. I myself didn't really enjoy the plot, but that never diminished my interest in Sylar; now that is true testimony to Quinto's skill.

So frankly, Quinto is, in my opinion, an accomplshed actor for his role as Sylar alone. And hopefully, his other projects (including Spock in Star Trek) will highlight his abilities even more.
  • Tv's hottest villian.

I first saw him on 24 season 3 and I was like he is so awsome. Yeah I really said that by the way. And then the season ended and I was disapointed that he didn't return for the 4th season. Then I saw him on Heroes and realised it was the same actor and Sylar became my favorite character on the show! He really is a talented actor and deserves more credit then he gets. He was also voted i think in People's Magazine one of the sexiest men alive. I think mind you. He is awsome and cant wait to see him more on Heroes!
  • Zachary is great at playing villian Ssylar on the US drama Heroes...

Zachary John Quinto is an American actor known for his roles as Adam Kaufman on 24, Sasan on So NoTORIous, and Gabriel "Sylar" Gray on NBC's Heroes. He has recently been cast to appear in the 2008 film Star Trek, as a young Spock.

He was born on June the second 1977 in Pittsburgh, Quinto first appeared on television in the short-lived television series The Others, and frequently appeared as a guest star on several hit television shows, including CSI, Touched By An Angel, Charmed, Six Feet Under, Lizzie McGuire, and L.A. Dragnet. In 2004, he landed a recurring role on the FOX series 24, as computer expert Adam Kaufman. Quinto appeared in all but one of the third season episodes of 24.

In 2006, Quinto played the role of Sasan, the haughty, flamboyant Persian-American best friend of Tori Spelling on her "reality" VH1 sitcom So NoTORIous. Later that year, he joined the cast of NBC's Heroes as the quiet, insecure, and dangerously superpowered serial killer, Gabriel "Sylar" Gray. Quinto will return to the role of Sylar for Heroes' second season as a contract regular.

does anyone else find this guy totally hot? you know what i think it is? ... his eyebrows. as sylar when he looks out from below those eyebrows with his dark eyes and the little killer smile on his face i completly melt. it takes a little while of watching sylar to realise that he is hot because your virst view of zachary is as gabriel who is quite a bit of a geek. He acts the watchmakers son perfectly. gabriel is so absorbed and fixed in his work and he knows what he wants but at the same time hes kinda a lost soul who is desperate to be special. He acts the killer perfectly too. as his appearance changes into the more rugged look of sylar he has a total self confidance in his abilities. he can get out of any tricky situation. zachary's tall dark and hansomness definatly adds to the whole look of sylar.

its also good to see the way the producers show sylar in his weaker points when he is being held hostage by mr bennet and is all pale and white. Its also cool to see him acting as the guy that can melt things and he goes around with mohinder. the producers of this show are genius! the show just keeps topping itself! its addictive!

What can I say about Zachary Quinto...? I only know him for the TV show Heroes, Zachary plays Sylar in Heroes. I love him, he is one of my favourite charactors in Heroes, I think he is third or even second. I love him, he is so funny, especially in one episode, I have forgotten what it was called now I think it was call "Distractions" it was so fuuny and scary at the same time. Anyway, back to Zachary Quinto. Zachary is a brillant actor and I know I have only seen him in Heroes, but if I had to vote his acting skills in this show it would be 10 out of 10 your cant fault him.
  • A very talented actor. I bet he can do anything when it comes to acting.

A very sweet guy in real life, and completely terrifying on Heroes.

Quinto is completely amazing. He is very very handsome but he doesn't act better than he is. He just has a super nice personality.

The most important thing about being an actor is being able to act. And my goodness, he sure can! He is such a good evil villan on Heroes that if I didn't watch interviews to see how sweet he was then I would be afraid if I ever met him.

I am sooo glad he is coming back for the second season of Heroes. Sylar of the Sewers rocks. But I hope he didn't kill Claude because if Sylar were invisible than the show wouldn't be as good to watch, I need to see him, not just hear him. [On a side note, he also has an amazing speaking voice!]

Plus, he's gonna be Spock, so he can't be that bad, can he?
  • One of the best villains in all superheroes series/movies

One of the best villains in all superheroes series/movies. After seeing the first season of heroes, the most impressive thing of this serie is the villain named sylar.

He has all the atribuites of a bad person and his acting is simply superb. I really hope that sylar is the main villain in the second season because thanks to him the people that watched the serie could feel and see how should a real villain be: mean to the bone, cold-hearted, and with an urge to destroy and create misery. Zach should be considered one of the main caracters in the serie.
  • Talented, cute, well-mannered, nice... Should I continue? I think yes!

I first knew him as Sasan on the show "So NoTORIous" and he was really funny and adorable there!

But I must confess that I did not gave him much thought at that time beyond that he's funny and is playing a really good character...

After the revelation of Sylar (he's character on the "Heroes" TV show) he got me hooked!

I looked at his early work - such a difference between each character he played! This guy is so versatile!

And in he's interviews he's always polite and seems like a really cool guy! (and he totally rocks he's All-Stars :P )

    Zachary Quinto owns my heart!

(can't wait to see him on the screen again)
  • Very talented

Zachary Quinto is a very talented actor. I have only seen his work as Gabrial Gray a.k.a Syler on Heroes, but I am sure that he is probably just as good in other parts he has played. On Hereos, Quinto plays the role of Syler chillingly good. Every time I watch him, I am kind of scared at how good he plays the murderous psychopath. Quite a few of his lines are delievered with such a chill behind it, it makes me wonder if maybe he is a real life murderous psychopath! One of my favorite lines of his is from the most recent Heroes episode, Parasite.

"This is the part where they usually start screaming." I think it went something like that, but however it went, it still is a sign that Zachary Quinto is a very good actor, and in the future, he is definatly going places!
  • Zachary Quinto = Hotness

Zachary Quinto, what else can I say about him, other than he is amazing. He is a great actor, but what really helps is his hotness! Hot damn is this guy hot! If you poured water on top of him, it would instantly evaporate into steam. That's just how hot he is. I hear he looks even better in ladies' clothes, especially when he is killing people and stealing brains, but that could just be me. Anyways, if you haven't checked out any of his work, you should, because he is an amazing talent, with the looks to boot! Yee haw!
  • Gabriel Grey aka Sylar

Now, I know he plays a seriously bad guy but he's intense. I mean I've only seen him on the show Heroes, as Sylar but he's only given intense performances so far. Obviously, when he was first on the show we didn't really see him let alone his acting abilities because he was incognito but since he has revealed himself and he has gotten to really build up his role on the show I'm really impressed. He's got this raw intensity that really works for the character seeing as Sylar is supposed to this intimidating frightening guy. I'm a little biased I suppose because I happen to think he is gorgeous but rewatch Distractions, episode 14. You can really see that the show is playing off Zachary's own natural intensity as he puts a lot of that into the character. I gotta say I like this guy, despite his unsavory actions on the show.
