Katherine got her start modeling for Sears catalogs. She then did commercials, moving onto That Night and King of the Hill. In 1994, Katherine had a main role in My Father, the Hero playing Gerald Depardieu's daughter, she followed that with a role in Under Seige 2: Dark Territory playing Steven Segal's niece. She then starred in the Disney movie Wish Apon a Star. After that Katherine's career took off with appearences on David Letterman and Jay Leno, and the cover of "Seventeen Magazine". Katherine moved to California with her mother after highschool to concentrate on acting full time. She… More starred in the independant features Prince Valiant and Stand-In's. In 1998, she joined the cast of The Bride of Chucky, starring along side Jennifer Tilly. She then went on to co-star with Peter Fonda in the TV-movie, The Tempest. She played Isabel Evans on the hit UPN show Roswell. Katherine is no longer starring in the hit drama Grey's Anatomy as Isobel "Izzie" Stevens.

The firs time i saw her in a Roswell i thought, oh what a beauty! Maybe its the script or the characters she gets but i dont really like Katherine Heigl that much anymore. I mean she was interesting at first she just... got boring. I think it has to do with her way of acting or assuming the… More character. If you see her on Roswell & Grey's Anatomy, i do see that similarity, the way she talks the type of character she becomes, the snide remarks. She's pretty but just not memorable. Everything's the same about her, there's no edginess, no mystery. She's basically just what she is on every show/movie and i assume even in real life, she's.... typical. She always has the same look, the same hair, the same manner of dressing, the same way of walking, there's no... chemical x to her. There was an episode of roswell where there was a bad side of her. She didnt rock it at all. She just had that usual smirk or grin on her face and kept her head bowed down, it was just the makeup that added a lil bit of change but thats it. Knocked Up was also so like her in tv shows. When you watch all her shows/movies, from Roswell to Grey's it's like the same Izzie just changing careers. That, for me, does not make a good actress. It's not so much the script but how you portray that character to be. How you distinguish every role, every dialogue so you dont just sound like the same person every time. Change is good. Sorry to all the Katherine Heigl fans but like i said, i used to like her but she just became old news. Oh and it's not just her., there are a couple of actors & actresses that carry the same personna in all their movies & shows. To name a few, JENNIFER ANISTON she's like the girl in friends who's in another in another movie but the comments, the reactions, the expressions, the laugh, the "you know sweetie.." thing, it's still the FRIEND'S character there. & Lets not forget Horatio Cane star David Caruso, if you've watched his movies Kiss of Death and Jade, you'll totally see HORATIO CANE, even on NYPD Blue. The pose, the "here's what we're gonna do, we're gonna....." lines, they're all there. It's so crazy So it's normal for Katherine Heigl and lucky coz what David Caruso doesnt have (that by the way left him unemployed for two years), Katherine Heigl has, the female beauty & body appeal. So good for her :)

I am debating whether she is going to get killed off greys anatomy or not. I really hope she doesnt. I heard she wants to get killed off because she wants to play in more movies rather than tv shows. I like to watch her movies but honestly I like Greys Anatomy so much more. I guess it would make since that she wants to get killed off because she has been acting really strange lately. Like forgetting where she put the scissors she was using and that part at the end of the episode(I wont get anymore specific so I dont give any more away.)
To me, Katherine Heigl is a very talented actress. I fist saw her on "Wish Upon A Star" and fell in love with here acting.I started watching Grey's Anatomy and immediatly Izzie became my favorite character. Now they are in the 5th season and rumors of Izzie's departure have been denied by Shonda Rhimes, so that makes me happy. I like 27 dresses and knocked up both of which she starts. She is by far one of my favorites, along side Sophia Bush, Eva Longoria Parker, Danneel Harris, Beverly Mitchel, and Holly Marie Combs. So I definantly look forward to Katherine's future films and TV series.

Grey's Anatomy was very good in the beginning but it has gone down a very boring path will all the MerDer "drama"! Note to the writers, we just don't care anymore and McDreamy is getting way to smug! Last season was just terrible and KEtherine was right to take herself out of Emmy contention because the writer's needed a wake up call! The only reason I'm watching anymore is with the hope that the writer's will wake up and give Izzy better stories! She also totally has the best style of anyone on the Red Carpet at the moment- that red dress was just gorgeous!!

I first saw Katherine in Grey's Anatomy and I thought she was a gorgeous and talented actress, just by the first episode! I particularly loved the scene, in which Denny has died and she got on the bed with him. It showed me, her great emotion and passion in her acting and how she can act in literally any type of situation, and pull it off perfectly. I also saw her in Knocked Up, which I though was fantastic.
From all of the interviews I have seen of her, she seems to have a wonderful personality.
She has perfect acting skills and I can't wait for her to become a bigger star.
Katherine Heigl in my opinion is great in everything that she takes apart of. I first seen her when I started to watch Grey's Anatomy, I loved her character and thought they pick someone who did a great job in doing that. Katherine Heigl has also been on some movies that I like, such as The Ringer. In that movie she was portraying someone different from Grey's Anatomy and I thought she did a fantastic job. Also she played a funny charcter in Knocked Up. Katherine is such a great person, and I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about her. I can't wait until she puts something else out.
