Peter was injured in July 2007 while riding his bike. He broke his collarbone and had surgery. The injury will be written into his Days Of Our Lives storyline. Peter: (asked who he‘d like to see his “Days Of Our Lives“ character more involved with) I like the Shawn-Bo stuff a lot. I’m looking forward to the work we have. I also like that Kayla is back. I love working with Mary Beth Evans (Kayla); we have a great time together. A lot of people mention that when we work together there’s a different quality to Bo; a lighter, funnier side. Kayla brings that out. (edit) Peter: (asked to name his favourite moment on “Days Of Our Lives”) The combination of Bo kidnapping the love of his life, Hope, from her ultimate moment: her wedding to somebody else. Bo charged into the church and took Hope against her will and, then, the two of them took off on the road, and she got into it. I had long hair. I got to rid a motorcycle, while they were playing Holding Out For A Hero. It was pretty exciting. (edit) Peter: Fame is great for my ego, but there are still a lot of other things to deal with. (edit) Peter: (on the storyline that sees his young son killed) This is a depth of emotion that I’ve never had to play. I’ve been looking forward to this challenge for years. If Bo’s daughter killed their son, and it’s Bo’s fault because he got Chelsea the temporary licence, then I don’t see how their marriage would be able to survive. (edit) Peter: (keeping the DOOL fans hooked on Bo & Hope) If I could answer that question, I'd probably be a millionaire. All the soap operas would love to know that! Kristian [Alfonso] and I have fun with each other, we work hard and that's all I can say. (edit) Peter: (after winning the Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race in 2003 but crashing & burning the following year) I dive a little different now. I don't break on paint marks, because that causes crashes. I am back to driving a Prius [environmentally friendly car] and watching how much fuel emissions I put in the air. (edit) Peter: (on being on DOOL) I'm pretty much at home now. I found out what it was like out there in the real world. I tested the waters and can't say that I did't try. Fate has been good to me and I'm hanging here. to have something that's lasted 20 years is beyond my imagination. It's been a great ride! (edit) Peter: (the most heroic thing he's ever done) Just the way I lead my life, being conscious of the world around us. We need to respect the earth as much as she respects us. It's a whole lifestyle. (edit) Reporter: What makes this home so special?
Peter: It's an environmentally sound, sustainable building. As much as we used materials that didn't have to be shipped far and burn up fossil fuel, that didn't have to be torn from the side of a mountain [such as granite] and that are safe once they're in the house. A lot of plywoods, paints, glues ad finishes let of gasses and pollute your interior environment. The world we live in is not a dump - the air is not, the water is not, and wither is the room that I'm sitting in. (edit) Peter: Bo Brady is the ultimate character and he keeps me young, happy and vibrant. Usually my music is an off-shoot. It's a project to fill time and be creative, but I haven't done much recently. I started building a house two years ago and we're moving in next week. That has been a project for [wife] Kelly and I and we're proud of it. It's beautiful! (edit) Peter: (the challenges he'd like to see Bo face) I would love to have Bo go on this adventure and learn the whole history of what happened between the Bradys and the DiMeras. That was a couple of decades' worth of the show and we never really found out why the conflict hapened. (edit) Peter: (on his return to Days in 1995) My first day back [in 1995], I had a scene with Kristian and I looked up at her and we had this powerful connection. When I finished the scene I said, 'Wow, it's like I never left.' (edit) Peter: (on Bo and Hope as a supercouple on Days) Kristian Alfonso and I were both so inexperienced. What did we know about being a supercouple? We tried to pretend like we knew what we were doing and how to handle it. (edit)
