Layla: Maxine's date Ben, the suspected Cupid killer, sings a variation of the Eric Clapton song Layla. It includes the name Lola instead of Layla in order to impress Maxine.

Cupid: The killers name comes the name of the cherub-like pixie of Roman mythology that now symbolizes Valentines day, using a bow and arrow to smitten lovers.
