It's been "four months" since "Broken Spell (1)" occurred, according to Nick. (edit) None of the Rangers appear morphed in this episode. (edit) This is the first episode since he joined the show that Daggeron does not appear (he technically no longer exists in this world). Same goes for Jenji, though the reason he's absent will be explained next episode. (edit) Do not adjust your sets: the majority of this episode is presented in black & white. (edit) Debuted on Toon Disney, on its regular day, but at a SPECIAL TIME of Monday night at 8:30pm E&P, as part of the Power Rangers Mystic Force- Dark Wish: A Jetix Blockbuster Event movie special, that includes all three parts airing together. Chip: You guys have got to admit, this is one exciting adventure.
Xander: Oh, yeah?
Chip: Not knowing where we going, not knowing when w're gonna get there,. not even knowing if we're ever going to get back!
Nick: (sarcastically) Yeah, really exciting. (edit)

When Xander is fighting one of the failed warriors part of his shirt near the buttons close to the pocket gets a hole in it but then when you see him fighting again the hole disappears. (edit) If they needed the key to open either door why did Madison leave the key in the first door? And why was Chip able to open the second door without a key? (edit) The Rangers need any help they can get, so why don't they try going to the cave to find and free Daggeron from the curse again? (edit) Just a niggling point, but if no new Ranger team rose to face the challenge, shouldn't there be some explaination for why no former Rangers came to Briarwood? (edit) If the Mystic Force Rangers never existed... Shouldn't Jenji and Imperious still be in the cave, and Morticon be in control? Even if Imperious were immune to the effects of the wish, if there were no Rangers, no one would have been around to open the cave nor destroy Morticon. (edit)
