- The plane in which Sucre leaves has NI592L written on the sides. edit »
- Michael dialed 505-555-1062 to call Sara. edit »
- When Michael and Lincoln are at their father's grave, Michael is having flashbacks of the car ride to the hospital. When Michael is in the car, he had a slight mustache and goatee, but at the grave site he is clean-shaven. edit »
- Bellick made the "incriminating" phone call, while being treated in a hospital (well documented place) and to top it all off, it was 5 seconds after talking to the police detective. They should have checked the time stamp on that phone message. There was no way any decent lawyer would miss that. Also, the coroner would have placed the time of death at the same time when Bellick is in the hospital. Unless the hospital was near the hotel, the police detective would be his alibi. edit »
- Isn't it obvious that if Bellick checked in at the hospital before Geary checked in at the hotel, he couldn't be the one who killed him? Even if it was after, wouldn't the police check the hotel surveillance cameras for evidence? edit »
- Though both are credited, neither Marshall Allman nor Robert Knepper appear in this episode. edit »

- Aldo: (to Lincoln and Michael) Listen to me. You find Sara Tancredi. She can end this. It's up to you now. edit »
- Aldo (to Michael): There's a tape. It'll give us everything we need. Lincoln will be set free if we find it.
(Michael stops walking. Lincoln looks at Michael)
Lincoln (to Michael): You're not gonna believe who he thinks has it?.
Michael: Who?
Lincoln: Sara. edit » - Michael: Six months... six months I was in that place. Where were you? How long did you know?
Aldo: I found you as soon as I could. The state kept moving you around.
Michael: Then you went away again, right?
Aldo: You don't think it killed me, to leave you like that, to leave in the first place? Since the beginning I was the problem, since day one. Your lives are what they are because of me.
Michael: Yes, Linc told me about the Company, apparently you were some kind of analyst. That's the job you chose over your family.
Aldo: I thought I was doing the right thing. I thought I was protecting you.
Michael: From what, Dad? From who?
Aldo: The Company had enemies, I was important for the company, I become a target. The easiest way to get to me, would be to get to you. I left as soon as I realized how corrupt it all was, how they were buying the government....
Michael (shouting): You could have come back at anytime!!!
Aldo (shouting): No, I couldn't. Michael, turning on the Company put me and you in even greater risk. I had to stay away. edit » - White House Operator: President Reynold's office.
Agent Kellerman: This is Agent Paul Kellerman. I need to speak with the President right now please.
White House Operator: I'm sorry, this administration isn't familiar with an Agent Kellerman.
Kellerman: June, it's me. I need to speak with Caroline. Now. June, if you don't put me through, I'll make certain that the President knows that you were the one who did not allow me to provide her with some very important information. Now.
White House Operator: I'm sorry, this Administration isn't familiar with an Agent Kell...
(Kellerman hangs up and places a call to Agent Kim)
Agent Kellerman (Kim's voice mail): Bill, don't do this. I've dedicated my life to this country. To Caroline. Everything I have, I give. (during the message, off-screen, footage of Agent Kim and another Agent can be seen deleting photos and files, proof of Kellerman's existence) I've been a perfect soldier. I've never asked anything of you, ever, but I'm asking you now, Bill, don't do this. edit » - Aldo: We can fix this. I came back so that we could fix this.
Michael: This can never be fixed. edit »
- Det. Kathryn Slattery: I don't care if you boys were out here whoopin' it without your wives, or... going Brokeback.
Referring to the movie Brokeback Mountain about two gay cowboys, hinting at what Bellick and his former colleague could have been doing. edit » - Original Episode Title: "The Giving Tree"
The Giving Tree is a popular children's book by author Shel Silverstein. It was first published in 1964. The story is about a boy who asks a tree for gifts to help him, which the tree gives him at great cost to itself. edit »
