    Very Intense!!!! hide show

The Tension created in Prison Break is what sells this series so well.

Take for examplo the first Scene in the cell, simply great, done in a simple way, however created tension.

We have two plots, exactly what I like. Michael Transfer Plot is not too strong, but gets the job Done and created another situation that seemed impossible to solve.

But English, Fitz or Percy plot is what sells this episode and make it very valuable and exciting.

Overall this episode created some Tension, excitment that is rare to find this quality in another show. All the things seem impossible to overcome and this keep you in the edge of your seat.

    wickeddddd hide show

This episode is great and filled with suspense and twists. This episode deals with Michael further plannining his escape. When we are first introduced to the concept of 'English,Fitz or Percy' we are inclined to think that they are prison C.O's or something of that sort, but we learn by the end of the peisode that it is in fact a part of the escape route.

I also love the flashback scene at the start of the episode where we see Michael having his tatoo applied, because I love learning about the past Michael had prior to being incarcerated.

One of my favourite scenes of the episode is when John Abruzzi finds out that Linc is in fact Michaels brother.

  • Goof: How was Michael going to find out what road to take out of the prison if he didn't have access to Pope's office? This turned out to be an essential part for Michael to find out that Fitz was the road to take. []
  • Agent Kellerman wears a small blue pin on his left lapel. It is the SF or special forces insignia. It is also consistently worn UPSIDE DOWN by Agent Kellerman. The arrowhead crest should point upward. []
  • Goof: When the plastic key is put into the door by Abruzzi, it is in the keyhole in the doorknob. When Michael opens the door, the key is shown as being in the deadbolt. When Michael goes out the door and goes to take the key out, it is back in the doorknob. []
More Trivia
  • Though both Marshall Allman and Robert Knepper are credited, neither appears in this episode. []
  • In Latin America, this episode is known as "La Transferencia", which means "The Transference". []
  • Music: "Orange Sky" by Alexi Murdoch. []
  • Kellerman: May I ask you a question, Warden? More of an observation, really. I was looking at the morgue photos from that boy, back at Toledo, Will Clayton. And, my lord, if he wasn't the spitting image of his daddy. Apple fell real far from the tree with that one, didn't it? Fell off the tree, fell all over the pavement. []
  • Nick: Well, we're pissing someone off.
Veronica: You say that like it's a good thing.
Nick: People start breaking the law, you know you're getting warm. []
  • Pope: I'm assuming this is about your transfer request for Michael Scofield?
Kellerman: More specifically why you denied it.
Pope: Look, Mr. Kellerman, do I come into your house and tell you where to put your furniture? []

Allusions

  • Sucre: I thought you had everything worked out, Fish.
Michael: We're not breaking out of a Jamba Juice, gentlemen.

Jamba Juice is a popular chain of smoothie resturants across 26 states, the District of Colombia and the Bahamas. []
  • Scofield: The reason we’re all here today is we have a decision to make…English, Fitz or Percy. If we’re gonna pull this off…we need to take one of them out.
Abruzzi: And you want us to tell you which one?
Scofield: I just want you to help me get to them. I’ll take it from there.

This conversation alludes to the streets surrounding the prison; however we don’t find that out until much later, after this conversation takes place. As it happens, it sounds like they’re talking about “taking out” another person. []
  • Fish: With a little help from my friends.
This is possibly a reference to the Beatles' song of the same name off "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band". Or of course, it could be a coincidence. []
