Strong return from the Hiatus hide show
Details/Progress (To point A to B) -» (8/10). We start with Michael, which get off to point A to point B which was finding Terrence, than we move to point C where the conclusion occurs. T-bag is in the Same point. Bellick has a new storyline and that was very funny. Mahone create some problem to him, but that is solved too.
Plot Details/Holes- » (8/10). How Mahone is alive is another mystery from the writers staff, from that distance, there is no way that Kellerman would fail the shoot, a trained agent, ok, I will try to believe in that. The details about Terrence was nice.
Drama/emotions - » (10/10). Bellick scenes were funny, I don´t have a choice but to rate this with a 10, it is hard to find something in Prison break that you can laugh. C-Note scenes and T-bag shared some drama too.
Suspense/Tension - » (8/10). Fast Gun fight, suspense at the beginning.
Surprises/Shocks - » (10/10). Mahone being alive was a surprise, since it is a mystery how Kellerman failed the shoot. Did you expect Bellick to do that? Did you expect Terrence final attitude? Mahone also have a surprise for the audience.
Time and Scene Management - » (8/10). T-bag plot didn’t come to a conclusion, neither C-Note, because they are meant to fill the empty spaces of this episode. At least, Michael and Lincoln scene were important and Bellick scenes was funny and great.
Beginning - » (10/10). Excellent presentation, suspense, a conflict and a nice setup.
Complication Phase - » (9/10). Bellick situation is the most complicated. T-bag situation is soft, C-Note is all about drama and Michael mission played nice.
Climax - » (7/10). Terrence with the Gun, nothing special.
Ending - » (8/10). What Mahone did and Terrence last attitude was nice.
What I liked -» Bellick, Mahone Scenes, Michael and Lincoln scenes.
What I Didn´t Liked -» Hard to say.
Strong return from the Hiatus Bellick Scenes managed to be the Best or at least the most funny.
Michael, Lincoln and Kellerman go to Montana to find Terrence Steadman. Bellick has trouble with other Fox River inmates. C-Note continues his journey alone with his daughter and T-Bag invades the Hollander family. Another awesome episode from Prison Break season two. dead, now is and Lincoln was there but did not bulled the trigger. All they can do now is run for there lives. This episode was so cleverly plotted. Loved the way the title just goes with the plot. Another great cliffhanger. Can't wait to see more from Prison Break, I need to see more! Bring it on I say!
some nitpicks on "realism" (suspension of disbelief, yes, all-out logic errors, please no) hide show
I thought this episode was intense and exciting. Unfortunately, I think it suffered from some lack of believability. First off, the Terrence character killed himself but they're acting like there's no way to prove he was who he said he was to the media...I concur with others in the idea that DNA tests could still prove his identity; he could prove to be a blood relative to the president at minimum. I thought that Bellick's storyline was kind of unrealistic too...first off, where's the trial? How come he just ended up in prison all of the sudden within hours of being accused of murdering his ex-coworker? Surely a murder trial takes some time and we're talking days since the escape. I also doubt a former correctional officer would end up in the same prison he used to work for...while interesting to the plot it seems unlikely.
Finally, T-Bag's storyline bugged me too. I would have thought he'd show his "girlfriend" the money he had so she knew he wasn't just making stuff up. Five million is a lot of money and can heal a lot of wounds, even for a murderer/rapist it would seem like five million dollars would make an impact on their relationship.
Anyway, I like the show's intensity and this episode kept me on the edge of the seat, just I like my escapism to feel a little more real without such huge errors in logic. I know I'm supposed to suspend disbelief but some aspects of the plot came off a little too fictional. Still, this show reminds me of 24 given its intensity and plot twists. Being bored waiting for 24 to come back on the air, this show does fill that void.
First let me say that I love this show but this episode kind of made me mad. Kellerman, Michael and Lincoln track down and capture Steadman only to have him take Lincoln's gun and kill himself right before the press gets there. #1 why did they not get everything recorded that was being said in the hotel room just in case? #2 all they have to do is compare his DNA to the Presidents and you can match them as siblings so he is just not a john doe. T-Bag has 5 million dollars and 4 episodes ago he was going to Thailand, instead he decides to take a family hostage for revenge purposes. That storyline is getting stupid. Still no sign on LJ and where is Sara? I am bored with the C-note storyline and is there anyone looking any of the convicts other than the people that want them dead? Where is the real law enforcement? I do not like to pick plots apart but for some reason this episode really annoyed me. I still love the show but lets get back on track.
Michael and Linc have an Inside Man hide show
Sirens wail and a helicopter circles overhead as Kellerman, Michael and Lincoln jump into a black SUV and race away, leaving Mahone for dead. But it's not his time yet. He wakes up in hospital, where one of Kim's men – Veronica's killer – is keeping watch over him. When he's told to take a call from Kim, Mahone sets him straight about Kellerman's double-crossing ways and makes it clear that he wants out. Threats of exposing of his past aren't enough to shake him. And when Kim delivers a warning message by arranging a hit and run on his son, Mahone responds the only way he knows how – by killing the agent sent to guard him. Meanwhile, Bellick gets his just desserts at Fox River; C-Note is devastated by the news that Kacee's set to serve a long sentence; and T-Bag makes a prison of the Hollander house. Despite their doubts, Michael and Lincoln follow Kellerman's lead and get on a chartered plane to Montana, where they manage to abduct Steadman from his safe house. But proving to the world that he's alive isn't going to be easy: all traces of his existence have been erased; his teeth have been pulled; his fingerprints have been burned off; and he's had cosmetic surgery. Unconvinced by Kellerman's plans of waiting it out in their motel room before taking Steadman to Washington DC, Michael calls a news station with their location, announcing that he wants to turn himself in. Steadman panics. Knowing what's at stake if the conspiracy's unearthed, he grabs Lincoln's gun and shoots himself. As the police pull in outside, a guilt-ridden Michael looks down at the body. "All we have is a John Doe," he whispers.
