    Getting better. hide show

Privileged started out as a fresh dramedy that brought a little bit of life into The CW's generally dull lineup of shows geared exclusively to girls 14-20. But since then the show has transitioned to a purely overdramatic program. The once sweet humor of Rose and Sage, and the quirkiness of Megan has vanished like a trick by a magician. Instead Megan is a plain college graduate and Rose is like a poor man's Blair Waldorf.

I understand the show needs to change to try and attract new viewers, but it's just not what it once was. They're trying too hard to be serious when its light-hearted nature is what made me a fan in the first place.

Better than the normal episode. hide show

This was a good episode, there are a lot of drama. Megan's sister was in jail and they talked about leaving her there. I am glad that they were going to do that she really needs to wake up. I can't believe that she was trying to find a lawyer for her husband but not for herself stupid. I like will a lot but am very mad that he got involved in the situation with Megan's jailed sister, but then again I am happy because it got the **** of a mom off the show I really hated her. The charater and the acting. Sage and her new boy were totally cute, and I like how she is handing the whole money think, I think he is having more of a problem with it than she is. Cute.

    9.5 Superb

Everyone starts to understand that although they are all different they can all make things work. hide show

This was a really nice episode of Privileged. Sage and Rose both discovered that although they are very different from their current squeezes they can work things out. Sage in particular, opened up and told some things about her childhood that had not been great. Megan had a tough time with her sister, Lily, being arrested for something her husband did. It was particularly sad when it turned out that her mother Shelby had conned them all and got a huge amount of money off Will, supposedly to bail Lily out. Instead she just vanished with it. Megan and Will's relationship teetered a bit because of it all. Overall, a good, well-crafted episode.

  • Sage: The point is, I totally get the knife dream. Okay? So we're not so different. End of fight.
Luis: Love that story, but we're pretty different.
Sage: So what? Big whoop, everybody's different. Megan and Will, Rose and Zach. Your parents were from two different cultures and they turned out fine. The point is, you promised me a date and I just showed you my kittens in a basket. So I expect something in return. And if you make a dirty kittens joke, I will beat you with this. []
  • Luis: Someone laminated your puzzle?
Sage: That's not the sad part.
Luis: Really? I think it might be.
Sage: Laurel had her assistant do it. Then she framed it and gave it to me as a gift. She didn't ask. She just did it. She thought it was nice, but I never got to finish my first 5000-piece puzzle. Which totally sucked. []

    Luis: Another present?
Sage: Please shut up. This is embarrassing enough. []
