  What a way to start the show. hide show

  Despite the fasct that it came after America's Next Top Model, Manhunt and the like, this show has a more brainy sense to it.
  
  Especially in this first episode, it was a great idea to really test the contestant's creativity and skills by having them pick up clothing "fabric" from a supermarket.
  
  I hate to admit it, being fashion forward myself (at least I think so), I know I would have thought out of the box ENOUGH as had Austin, choosing corn leaves. The first time I saw it, I was thinking what I would get if I were there and I was thinking of placemats... which in retrospect, is kinda boring, I think.

• Austin was the winner of the challenge. He gained immunity for the next challenge. [edit]

• Morgan, Kara Saun's model, was an hour late for her fitting, giving Kara only an hour to prepare her for the runway show. Her excuse- her mother, who usually wakes her up, was out of town. As a result of her irresponsibility, she was dropped by her agency. [edit]
