Bravo books Parker hotel for reality series

Bravo said Tuesday it has given a series pickup to a documentary series set in the luxurious Parker Palm Springs hotel in southern California.

Each one-hour episode of the tentatively titled Welcome to the Parker will follow the lives, relationships and drama of the hotel staff and their guests. Viewers will see "the work that goes into keeping the Parker's sterling reputation intact," Bravo said.

Production begins this month, with the series set to air in 2007. Bravo did not indicate how many episodes were ordered.

Who cares about a show in a hotel. I gurantee that half of the guests faces will have black bars over them to protect their privacy.

Sounds like an awful idea for a tv show. Why can't the networks come up with original tv shows, better yet good tv shows?
