Margaret Thatcher was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990. In 1954, she was specializing in tax issues as a Barrister. (edit) When Vincent and his henchmen confront Sam after the tango sequence, Sam says, "It sounds like you're making me an offer I can't refuse."
