So Ben starts having these stomach attacks that are causing him to double over. When Mike brings it to his attention he insists that its not big deal. However, when Ben is teaching a lecture he has an attack in front of the class, then he collapses and passes out. We find out that he has acute Pancreatitis and they don't know if he's going to live. Apparently the medication he's been taking is doing a number on his body. Unraveled Mike calls Brian to come to the hospital where he breaks down. Mike had called Vic who in turn informed Deb what was going on, and he didn't seem very happy with her either. She shows up to the hospital looking for Mike and winds up sitting with Ben and brought him some soup. She stays for a bit and then starts acting like mother hen, telling him he will eat the soup, haha. Things look like Ben is going to recover, but the doc wants him to stay off the meds for a few months to give his body a rest. That can't be good for the HIV. In the meantime Justin keeps attempting to reconnect with Brian, thinking he doesn't care. Justin comes home from Vermont and finds Brian getting it on with some other guy, which wasn't much of a welcome home. Justin starts spending more time with Ethen and dabbling in dangerous territory. Ethen doesn't have much at his apartment but makes do with what he has, like the junk couch he had Justin help him carry. Ethen sets up a little picnic on the floor and tells Justin that the last relationship he was in was basically everything that Brian and Justin's is like. Then he proceeded to tell Justin that what he wants is to settle down, like Justin. In a bit of a last attempt, Justin tries the picnic thing with Brian, who doesn't want to be tied down. Brian goes to Babylon and Justin, tired of waiting, turns to Ethen. They wind up fooling around though it's unsure at this point whether they went all the way or not. I know Justin and Brian aren't exclusive and Justin fools around too, but what's different about this is there are feelings involved with both Ethen and Justin, which could be dangerous for Brian. On the other hand Emmett gets Mel as his lawyer to help settle the matter with George's family. When Mel says she plans to release the video tape to the press, the family wants to settle for a million dollars. First of all i would have gone for two, but when Emmett finds out that he only gets the money if he denies that he and George had a relationship, he refuses to sign or settle. Good job Emmett. We also got to see Daphne in this episode. I've been wondering if we'd hear from her again since we haven't in a while, it was nice to hear her mentioned in the episode before this. Looking forward to seeing what the next episode brings.

One step closer to losing Sunshine hide show

Justin is fed up for good with Brian's club hopping and over-the-top sexual antics. Now when he sees Ethan, he longs to be with him because he is so much more romantic. If you ask me, Ethan's fakely romantic, and makes me want to throw up. Now he's intentionally going to see Ethan more and more, which eventually leads to a sexual occurance at the end of the show. Now Justin's actually cheating on Brian, which absolutely kills me. And though I get where Justin wants someone who acts like he wants to be around him more and show their love for him, Brian does those things all the time, but Justin needs to look farther beneath the surface.

Did you miss me? hide show

After Justin returns from his trip he had planned to take from Brian it becomes increasingly more obvious that he is very displeased with Brian's club hopping sexual exploits. So clear in fact that his constant run in's with the fiddler become less accidental and very intentional.

We see however, that though Brian has a hard time being there for Justin and showing him that he cares, his willingness to be there for Michael and his genuine care for him show he has a heart. Some place.

Unfortuantely, Sunshine is none to pleased with it.

  • When Brian has Justin up to the pole in the loft, we see Brian take off Justin's shirt but when the camera moves itself, we see Justin still has the shirt on. The same goes with Brian's pants. []
  • Brian: You’re back.
    Justin: You noticed. []
  • Mr. Wiley : What is this? Another devious ploy?
Emmett : By an ambitious porn site hustler? No, Mr. Wiley. It's not a ploy. You see, I may not have a million dollars, like George, but I do have the truth. It's my only currency. And it's my gift to him. You can take everything. Every cent. But the one thing I won't let you take is what George and I shared. That's mine, and you can't have it. []
  • Debbie : Well, I don't want to wear you out. We all know how exhausting I can be. If you see Michael, tell him I said hello.
Ben : Debbie, I'm really sorry for putting him through this. Maybe he should've listened to you.
Debbie : To me? What the **** do I know? I'm just a controlling **** who should've kept her big mouth shut.
Ben : You're his mother. You love him, you're trying to protect him.
Debbie : Well, I suppose there are two ways of thinking about it. I prefer yours. []
