Radio Free Roscoe is about the radio program that was created to tell it like it was. The RFR gang was displeased with the sugar-coated Cougar Radio, and they (Lily, Ray, Robbie, Travis) began RRF. hide show

RFR is simply one of the best shows on television, if not the best. It's cancellation was one of the worst TV-decisions that I can think of. RFR accurately discribes most things teens go through, without the show being too "preachy," boring, or hardcore.

RFR is the show that I stay up until 4:00 AM to watch. That's how good the show is. Anyone who hasn't seen this show is truely missing out on the good TV out there.

RFR is clean, little kids could watch it. They may not understand the plots, but nothing in it would offend parents. Yet, it still keeps you watching and wanting to know what is going to happen.

RFR is really my new best friend!

    good hide show

i like this show and i watch it but its so over dramatized like the stuff that happens is stuff that only happens on tv i know this stuff would never happen in my life but i still watch it just for the drama , just to see how the story is going and whats happening to the characters but the relationships are so unreal its a show for pre-teens that wish for a tv life of drama love and romance that will never happen in real life but i still watch it so its still good just for the story line.

A (fantastic) show about four ninth graders at 'Henry Roscoe High' who come together (despite differences) to make themselves heard. They find love, friendship and happiness in each other and the strangest places. hide show

I loved RFR from the first episode. I made it my weekly thing to sit down and watch it, no matter where I was.

It's sad to see the show end but I'm glad it went out the way it did. Lily and Ray were obviously meant for each other. I hate to see Travis leaving, it really isn't fair that his parents move him so often but life goes on and the world keeps turning.

    I'll miss you RFR...

This show totally rocked, I wish it didn't get cancelled. This show was cool, from each character, the plots, and the music in each episode. hide show

Radio Free Roscoe was one of my favorite t.v. shows, you know, besides Degrassi The Next Generation. Radio Free Roscoe had some interesting episodes, especially the "Detention Redemption" episode. Now that episode reminded me of Degrassi's episode entitled "Take On Me"....which in itself reminded me of the 80's classic movie that I truly love called "The Breakfast Club". Though I was really born in 1987, I still appreciate those classic 80's flicks. Now, back to RFR, the show was a trendsetter. Each actor held their own in every episode, even when the different episodes did not call for certain actors. I can't wait till the RFR DVD's come out and I really hope each actor does some more great t.v. shows like this one. Rock On RFR and maybe see you guys on the big screen.

What is there to say that hasn't been said by someone else? hide show

Great show, excellent casting. You gotta love it. And now I'm just going to write nonsense words to fill in the space and create a 50 word long review. Hopefully they don't filter out reviews because I only was looking to rate this show, not review it. Guess they don't have that feature. Okay done, 53 words.

Radio Free Roscoe is a show based around the lives of four teens who lead themselves to start their own underground radio station. Their personalities lead us through their 9th grade year as each of them finds their own voice, while also providing amazing hide show

To me Radio Free Roscoe has a league of its own. People like to compare it to other shows, but from where I am sitting there is no competition.

The first season did a great job introducing the characters while taking them through common events that are realistic to high school such as starting a petition, running for class president, and serving time in detention.

It was later on that drama, and not just comedy started to gain a major role in this series. While some could say the drama wasn't a favorable change, I believe that the writers still managed to deliver good humor and a few more realistic events.

Overall I would have to say that the messages, music, characters, and events that made up the 52 episodes of Radio Free Roscoe succeeded in bringing some of the best television to my screen that I can honestly admit to viewing. Everyone would like to believe their favorite show is the best, but in this case I don't have to just "believe", I KNOW it.

Radio Free Roscoe is an underground radio station started by 4 ninth graders. The show is based around the relationships/friendships of the four DJs. hide show

I love this show! I should have put it under guilty pleasure, or no one knows I watch this, because I am much too old to be watching this show! I just find it to be a really cute, heartwarming show. I love the developing relationships/friendships between the main characters. Now that the show is over, I can still go back and watch all of the old episodes, and see how the relationships started and developed. I know that it's weird for an 'adult' to be watching a show for teens, but I think it helps me recapture my youth. (lol) It's just a really good clean-cut family show, and I love it! (And I don't care who knows it! lol)

It's about 4 9th graders and their lives as teens and radio hosts. 3 are long-time friends and one is from around the world, he joins Robbie the dj, Ray the funny guy, and Lily the sweet rocker girl. hide show

The show is very original compared to the rest of the shows, sadly it seems to be different. There were 52 great episodes and has won 4 awards. The Power of Radio and On the air got us started and they got their secret identities. Lily got started in gettig her music by doing Mickey's Open Mic. Ray is trying to find himself as well. He is very funny and sweet. Robbie does his own thing and is hard working. In About a Girl, we find out Ray likes Lily as more then a friend. In Radio Wars- Shady lane(Lily) sings a song about kim while they have their radio war over Kim calling rfr lame and then she takes their show and music and stealing it. Ray asks "what do I look like?" Lily replies "an immature goof with two pencils in his mouth?" Ray says " Your supposed to say walrus."
In Clark Kent, Robbie has a crush on a popular girl and she falls for q mark. While Ray gets Lily a frog to show he cares for her after she tells him she had a frog when she was 8. Lily asks if she remembers when he flushed her goldfish down the toilet cuz he thought he'd enjoy the ride after he found out she had a frog. Ray jokes and Lily thinks it was a sick joke after she shook the frog so it doesn't work for Ray or Robbie too well. I am question Mark, is about headphones and Robbie gets a tape of Mr. Waller in the 70's, the little dancing is quite entertaining. Lily starts a petition and no1 sigsn until Ray starts taking off his clothes and tells them the only way you can stop me is by signing Lily Randalls petition to end the ban. And then he says "When you got it, you got it." Political in Pink is very entertaining and quite amazing. Rays says he's signing on as coach and then he also says "When Lil is president, I'll be her first lady." Travis and Ray help her but in the end, she used gimmicks and after being ahead the other girl wins. In the Imposter, Ray makes fun of Travis after some1 is posing as smog. He shares his talents and in the end he decides to stay, he's home. This was a warehouse party after being bored and Ray asked a girl to the party to make Lily jealous, and Robbie helps him. Detention Redemtion is very funny. They get in dention after a cell phone ban for using walkie talkies. Lily punches Ray for saying something stupid after he asks q, and he asks "why do you always have to punch me?" She says" Not always, only when you do something stupid" he replies" which is always." In Crush me Lily gets a crush on her guitar teacher and ray decides it's time to ask Lily out. she thought he was being sarcasting defending her song. He says ""somthing important and your not gonna be able to take me seriously." At first he isn't happy with her crush and says something mean but it works out. Robbie and Travis play torpedo and during a talk Ray says" how can a guy named strong not wanna arm wrestle? That's like tom cruise not wanting to go sailing." My Pal Pronto, Ray refuses to shave his side burns, he comes up with great baseball sayings and plays with dinosaurs instead of thinking what means to be a member of the family. He also comes up with great disses at his parents. In Call of the cougar, Ray gets school spirit and tries to tell Lily he likes her. Robbie thinks Lily has a crush on him when he sees songs for question mark?. In Sports Ray-dio Ray is sick of not being famous and gets in with the in crowd. He learns his lesson about himself. I will go to Girl Talk Radio I think, Travis fills in for Lily when it's time to answer questions and it goes too far. Ray says "we don't need Lily for that anyway" they realize that even though they were trying to get listeners and try something else, it was wrong. Robbie helps Ed and Ted become a boyband and he didn't want to join, but in the end they needed Robbie to look good so he forgets about what people will think and helps them. In Written in the Stars, Robbie thinks they should take a break so Ray follows Lily after school and Travis writes a sci-fi story which Ray becomes a part of and makes it funny. And he says after you call an alien "bro"(Travis) U can't go back. In Pig-Malion Ray writes Lily a love letter and she reads. She helps Ray into the perfect boyfriend until she realizes it was too late that he was perfect for her. Lily helps Ray break-up with his annoyingly perky party girl gf. He tries after she rubs off on him, but then it's time to cheat on her so he kisses Lily. At first Veronica was hurt, but then she dates another guy. You can tell Ray and Lily are thinking about hooking-up cuz he thinks there is something better out there. Robbie and Travis try to break-up Ed and Ted for science. "Are we still talking about eggs here?" This Just In, Waller goes to a happy people, happy planet seminar. Ray trying to get waller to laugh at himself and making fun of the seminar is hi-larious as Ray says. Meanwhile Lily gets help from Ed and Ted in science "letting it flow through." Gossip: Waller has a crush on a teacher, and Ray records the date without getting caught. Zen and the Art of Bicycle Maintenance, Robbie's bike gets stolen and Ray tries to help find it. Travis has a birthday coming up and does not want to celebrate cuz he moves around a lot. Lily helps him realize he's a friend. And Ray figures out who did it after Lily punches Ray and the girl who has a crush on Ray slips out, she stole the bikes, all of them not just Robbie's. The Boxer, Travis reads up on the boxers, Ray talks about how the back of the class has funn guy, loners and jocks and not to give little facts when Waller is the sub. Travis becomes a teacher when he takes Waller up on his offer, which really wasn't one. Meanwhile Robbie likes Kim and helps to sell calendars but no1 buys them so he sells them as dart boards. Bad Boy: guest starring Skye Sweetnam a canadian singer, Robbie makes a video diary in the life of a model student. At first he acts like a bad boy but then he realizes that isn't him. While Ray can't find his lucky card, which does work for him. Travis finds it and plays a joke on Ray and Travis has bad luck. Ray gets it back and Travis gets bad karma. More Than A Single: Travis helps Lily produce a single airing under her name not her alter-ego. They grow closer together while he isn't seeing much of his Girlfriend Audrey. Robbie debates Kim on air. The Awful Truth: Robbie finds out Travis and Lily kissed and doesn't tell Ray at first after all this pda at school, waller making an annoucement and he jokes about it. Ray apologizes for saying they are secretly dating and he acts like they are friends so Ray gets mad at Robbie. They have a product called the truthmaster and Ray says Waller never kissed in HS. Robbie kisses Kim. Ray helps Lily by being her friend and she crashes into him, he takes her hand. Ray tries to punch Travis at the end(won an award) All or Nothing: Ray makes Lily laugh while his feelings for her do not change. Travis is confused and wants to change by taking pictures for the paper and in the end they go back to their radio show. Lily tells Robbie she likes Ray and Robbie tells Ray. Ray walks back while Lily and Travis are about to kiss again. That is season 1 or season 1-2.

In my opinion, Radio Free Roscoe is one of the most amazing shows on television. hide show

One of my favorite shows on television is Radio Free Roscoe. This is a show about four teenagers who start their own radio station so that they can speak their minds, and express their own feelings. The four friends deal with many things including friendship problems, romance, and a lot more.

Some people consider this a show for preteens, but I think that this is a suitable show for all ages. There is nothing that is extremely inappropriate for younger viewers, but it's also got things that the older generation is interested in.

The cast and crew do an amazing job on the show. The episodes are well written, and are acted out fabulously. The cast does an amazing job of portraying the lives of four young teenagers and their radio station.

In my opinion, Radio Free Roscoe is one of the most amazing shows on television. It is funny, dramatic, and overall, a great show.
