Yup, perhaps someone should start a new tvtome.com. I really only come here to see if the design has been fixed yet, and to look around the redesign forums. I want the OLD site back!

I like that idea! Make it just like the old site. They have no right to claim any copyright or trademark infringement since they thought the old site was so bad that they replaced it. I would love to be part of a new & better site that is just like TV.com used to be! Right now the site isn't worth my time.

I don't mind the design, but I do mind all those annoying and still unfixed bugs.

But how many of those bugs existed before the Redesign? Wouldn't the site be better now if they had simply made a few improvements rather than doing such a major redesign? How much effort would it have take to make a few improvements, instead of all of the effort to redesign a site and then fix all of the things that got screwed up?

With every change they spout crap about the community and making things easier for us, but clearly they're not looking at what WE want for the site at all!

The real reason it was changed was because CBS bought out CNET. So you are going to have to deal with the changes.

    2. The number of truly dissatisfied users is not that high I think the poll results should be saying a lot: Should TV.com return to its previous layout? Yes. 86% [347] No. 14% [58] Total Votes: 405 86% dissatisfied is not a good rating.

Heck , Even George W. Bush has more approval. That's SAD.

Yes, yes. Double yes. Triple yes.

But what good would this do? All of our complaints would go unanswered.

    Wow! 391 to 64 against!

And is the list of Top 5 Boards in the right-hand column screwed up for anyone else? The numbers are blocking the text.

100% Yes! I hate how you have to mouse over your username to view your PM's and mod queue. What was so wrong with the old layout? I don't understand the reason for the change. Could some one explain?!

Also, Has anyone even heard any administrators defend the new layout?

Here's the explanation: It's CBS doing these redesigns, and they're trying to compete with this site called "Hulu" by making TV.com more "trendy". They don't even go onto the forums and see what us loyal users think about these redesigns. They just do them, and don't care about us at all. Sad, but true.

The old way was the best way: fun to use, easy to navigate, lovely to look at (it's the Roberta in me!), but these redesigns are trashing all opportunites of this being a decent, usable site. How many other databases list all of the episodes backwards? This site isn't even practical anymore.

398 against, 65 for. In just about the last week 7 more people have said they hate it and one person has said they like it! I'm spending time on TVRage now. It's not what TV.com used to be, but at least it's not what TV.com is now.
