    Hello,

With the redesign, does anyone know how an editor makes another person a trusted contributor?

I'm still wondering -- once the new interface works -- how will it be support making someone a trusted contributor or allowing an editor to retire, etc. Please don't say the same way, as stuff change a lot and ... Anyway, how is it suppose to work and anyone have an idea of when it should be working again?

    Hi there,

We're working on restoring Trusted Contributors back to the site, as well as the ability to assign them.

The Trusted Contributor page should be back now. Just click the Become a Contributor page above the list of contributors on your guides.

Also, the Add Episode link should be back on episode guides as well.

Thank you for the heads up! I appreciate it.

Ah, there is a bug on the page -- I think. As I read the requirements for making someone a trusted contributor, the person must have 40 CP and be in the top 5 contributors. When I look at the list for the Dragnet series (I edit), the list presented to me has two errors:

    1) It includes a person who does NOT have 40 CP! At least on the list of contributors the person - bleech224 doesn't have 40 or more CP (he's not even on the list of contributors).

On both the series overview page and episode pages, what I see for the contributors are:

    bmoshier EDITOR User Score: 696
    1) crazyrhythm TRUSTED User Score: 151
    2) MikeH0714 User Score: 289
    3) jmikeh User Score: 70
    4) alanbrewster User Score: 49
    5) sounddude User Score: 41

Yet, on the drop down box, I see:

    1) bleech224 (I don't see him as a contributor on the episode page)
    2) MikeH0714
    3) jmikeh
    4) alanbrewster 2) The top 5 contributors who can become trusted should by my count include the user = sounddude (41 CP), but I don't see him in the list. This of course assumes I don't count on the list -- as I can't be both the editor & trusted, right?

So ... if the top 5 includes the editor, I'd ask for a change to NOT include the editor in the top 5 list. Instead the top 5 should ONLY be those eligible to become trusted. Doesn't that make sense, right?

    Bert.

I made a lot of submissions to Dragnet last year and had to see what was going on when you mentioned that I was missing from the contributors list. I went into the submission status "View by Show" menu under my account, and I didn't see Dragnet listed as a show I contributed to. However, it listed "The Big L.S.D" (the first episode of Dragnet) as a show I contributed to, and when I selected it, it contained all of my 163 submissions to Dragnet, the last of which was on 1/21/11. Upon further inspection, the samething happened to my submissions to Courtship of Eddie's Father (under the episode name "The Candidate") and The Ropers (under the episode name "Moving On"). However, my user scores still show up for those guides.
