There's no doubt in my mind that I wasn't the only person in the world crying out for "Ren and Stimpy" to dump this abomination of a mistake called Wilbur Cobb. My childhood friend Roscoe actually wished Nickelodeon would kill him just to put Roscoe out of his misery! Although I never would've expected for Nickelodeon to actually listen! While it wasn't possible for the series to rise up to the high standards that John K. had set up, at least Now it could get a lot closer to those standards after ditching the creepy cartoon character! Not only did the episode feature as little on-screen time of Wilbur Cobb as possible, I found the episode to be very sweet in a way. There's one scene of Stimpy looking at a Galoot, and that look is of true love. Hint, hint! And if that wasn't proof enough, just get a look at Stimpy when he's forced to say good-bye to his favorite Galoot and Stimpy says that Stimpy loves his Galoot! That scene just says it all! Though the series wouldn't reach the same high caliber of a plateau as it did under John K., at least it could now finish off the rest of the series with mostly the same uninhibited, unrest-rained, uncontained, irrelevant humor that made this show such a big hit with kids and adults who 'got' the humor in the humor in the first place! This is why I like this episode! Enough said! :D
