In 1956 Rhodes Reason filmed a half-hour pilot for a projected TV series to be called "Sea Divers." He and co-star John Smith played commercial divers who were to become involved in various adventures and mysteries. The series did not sell but some regard it as a precursor to Lloyd Bridges' "Sea Hunt" series which enjoyed success in syndication in the late 1950s.
