Rica Matsumoto is a Japanese seiyuu(voice actress) and talented J-Pop artist. She got her start in entertainment doing stage performances, and has since moved on to voice acting and singing. Her debut as a seiyuu was playing the character Chyoromatsu in the anime Little Osomatsu. One of her most known roles in anime is her voice work as Satoshi on Pocket Monsters; better known in America as Ash Ketchum on Pokémon.
As for her singing career, Rica is currently part of the popular group "JAM Project". The specialty of this group is that they perform songs for animes. This is also where the majority of her work currently lies.
