This drama is about the life and tribulations of George Stevenson, a recent widower with two children. He lives in Wales, works in a chocolate factory and has an ambition to lauch a rocket into space to carry his wife's ashes to the stars. His best friend Barney and his son Tom (aged 8) are his enthusiastic helpers, but his daughter Angela feels less than happy about the entire plan.
