Loudspeaker: Attention bowlers! The O-Thown Bowlorama Amateur League Championship game will now begin. It's Bigheads Gutter Gals versus The Losers now on lane 13.
Filbert: (nervous) Lane 13? That's terribly unlucky.
Heffer: Yeah, unlucky for the slobs we're bowling against.
Virginia: Heffer!
Heffer: Oops, sorry mom. (edit) (Ed answers the phone)
Ed: Hello? (chatter on the phone) What?
Bowler: That's right! We quit the league and joined the monastery. We even took a vow of silence. (gives friends a thumbs up) Oops.. gotta go. (edit) Ed: (talking to his bowling team) Alright girls, if we win tonight's game I get.. I mean we get that giant trophy and I don't have to tell you ladies how much that trophy means to me. Remember girls, it may be true that winning isn't everything but losing is nothing!
Bev: Oh Ed, don't you think you're taking this a bit too seriously darling. (bats her eyes)
Ed: Oh that is mutinous talk Bev! (edit) (Heffer is wearing platform shoes)
Rocko: Heff, where'd you get those shoes?!
Heffer: Some customer left them here. They were the only size 19s that they had.
(A wolf dressed like Gene Simmons at the rental counter)
Wolf: What do you mean you gave my shoes away?! (edit) Rocko: Mr. Bighead, we had a really good time. Thanks for inviting us. And I know this trophy means more to you than it does to me, so...I'll keep it in the window that faces your house so you can look at it whenever you want. (edit)

In "Gutter Balls," there's a Rubix cube in the shelves where the bowling balls go when the trophy is presented.
(edit)
One of the models Filbert was taking pictures of has legs very similar to Bugs Bunnies.
(edit)
When they first start going bowling in "Gutter Balls," Rocko, Heffer, and Fulburt are in lane 13. Later in the episode, Filburt bowls a strike to tie the game and the camera shows the ball going on lane 17.
(edit)
In "Gutter Balls," Rocko says that they've (Heffer, Filburt and himself) never been bowling before but in "Jet Scream" one of the things that Heffer did in First Class was win the First Class Bowling Tournament.
Also, in a scene from "Gutter Balls" Rocko has his own personalized bowling ball. Why would he have such a thing had he never bowled before? (edit)

Visual: Title Card for "Hair Licked"
The title card is a parody of the poster for the Broadway musical Hair. Additionally, the music playing during the title card is a "Rocko" version of "Aquarius". (edit)
