Darlene says that she's never smoked or drank, and only used drugs once. But she first smoked in "Bridge Over Troubled Sonny", and then she picked up smoking again when she was living with Jimmy. Also, when it was revealed Darlene had tried drugs, she had done it more than once since she admitted to using acid twice as an example. edit »

In the ending credits while Darlene's premature baby is shown, the doctor from Australia says "Amazing...I've never seen anything like this," proving that the baby lives. edit »
Darlene said she was pregnant in April of 1996. Since then, it has been 10 months. Perhaps they say it is premature because the season 9 premier was supposidly only 6 days after the season 8 finale when Roseanne walked out on Dan. This would mean Darlene had only been pregnant for six months. But, if this were so, the Halloween and Christmas episodes would have happened in the wrong months. edit »

Jackie: (to the baby) I remember when I was about 5 and we were riding in the car, and I was leaning up against the door, and suddenly the door just flew open, and I was falling out of the car...I remember because I could see the road rushing right below me, so I was literally outside of the car...and out of nowhere, Mom reached over and pulled me back in by my hair...and, if you ever feeling like you're falling away, you don't have to worry because we'll be right there to pull you right back in. edit »
Bev: (to the baby) Oh, you've got quite a grip...I think you're a lot stronger than you're letting on. edit »
Jackie: There's 12 doctors on the list and we've called ten.
Roseanne: Well maybe, then it's time we tried an alternative.
Jackie: What, like...acupuncture?
Roseanne: Well yeah, or an herbalist or a natural healer...western medicine don't know everything, and there are countries where they do that stuff...like I read that in India, they take sick people down and bathe them in holy water.
Jackie: No, you're making that up, that stuff doesn't work.
Roseanne: Yes it does work, Jackie, I read it in all of Nancy's books and they all said the same thing, it works because they believe it's going to work. edit »

Nurse 1: What's going on?
Nurse 2: I'm not sure, it looks like some sort of coven. edit »
Darlene: If there's nothing physically wrong with me and I didn't do anything morally wrong, then nothing makes sense. What did I do to deserve this? Why was my baby born prematurely?
David: You didn't do anything to deserve this, you don't deserve this...our baby doesn't deserve it. It just happens. edit »
