More short bits followed, as well as Dick reminiscing about his old neighborhood and Potpourri. Then more short bits, a sketch involving the word 'transmitter,' some one-liners and short bits, and the debut of We Can't Top This. Following was Gladys and Tyrone, the Discovery of the Week, the Weir Brothers as an orchestra, and a second helping of Gladys and Tyrone. Next was more short bits, the orchestra and the news. Ann Miller joined the girls in a Busby Berkley-type dance number, Dan called Dick 'Ducky' and also imitated Goldie introducing the future news. Then more short bits, the party, which was all about books, more short bits, a fey song from Arte, the orchestra, and more short bits. Next was Sock It To Me Time, Goldie confusing Dick Smothers with Dan, Dick saying he had to leave early to tend to a female friend, a Letter To Laugh-In, a poem by Henry, the Flying Fickle Finger of Fate Award, more short bits, the good nights, where everyone said 'Ducky' instead of 'Dick', the joke wall and the last short bits.
