Episode #42
- 42.
- Season: 3
- Episode: 2
- First Aired: 9/22/1969
This episode started with Goldie asking Diana how she liked performing in various cities she had never been to, followed by the cast in vaudeville mode. After the intros, the opening monologue had Dick telling Dan about getting a tan in Palm Springs. Then Uncle Al, several short bits, Dick's Day with Dick trying to get out of bed, Diana singing a song about the aooogah noise that covered up naughty words, and Gen. Bull Wright talking about military spending. More short bits, a Letter to Laugh-In, Gladys and Tyrone responding to it and Dan and Dick with the cash register. More short bits, and what was billed as a penetrating look at insurance(though it looked more like Mod Mod World). Then more short bits, and Diana at the cash register where it hits her elbow. More short bits, the party, which was preceded by a short monologue about Myra Breckinridge, more short bits, and Diana with the cash register again, though this time it missed her elbow. Then more short bits, a poem by Henry, and the news, which featured Diana and all the girls as her Supremes. Then more short bits, Dick talking about his half-brother, Robot Theatre with Arte bringing dinner home for Judy's birthday, the Flying Fickle Finger of Fate, the good nights, the joke wall and Bob Hope joining Wolfgang in the bush.
