- Jan Sterling and Robert Service:
Dick did this joke in the last joke wall segment: 'If Jan Sterling married Phil Silvers, divorced him and married Robert Service, she'd be Jan Sterling Silvers Service.' Other than Phil Silvers, Dick is referring to:
Jan Sterling was an actress who was nominated for an Academy Award for best supporting actress for The High and the Mighty in 1955. She also appeared on numerous TV shows. Her TV.com page can be found here.
There are several people named Robert Service, but Dick is most likely referring to the Briton who is a Russian historian.
- Jan Sterling and Robert Service:
- Dick took all the Sock It To Me's instead of Judy. First, he fell through the trap door. Second he put on skis to prevent that, but got splashed. Next, he put on rain gear, but got hit in the head. Finally, he put on a suit of armor, but Judy gave him a live wire and he got a shock. Dan came out and said 'They sure socked it to you!' and he got splashed.
