    I really liked the episode where Misery's cousins appear... but which one's which of them?

    Malady is the one that looks like Misery, only with a big hat, and Malaise is the white-faced one.

    I just watched that episode myself, and thought it was a lot of fun.

    Everything freezes over when Malady and Malaise stay together for a while. Misery has nothing to do with it.

    So why does it happen? Well, just because everyone in in Misery's family are accident prone, I guess. Malady and Malaise seems to have this as a special field. I've written a story where I suggest that the two of them might have had something to do with the actual ice age.
