With David Spade joining "Rules of Engagement," CBS decided that the pilot had to be reshot. David Spade who joined the cast during september, will take over for Greg Pitts as the sole single character in the bunch.
"Rules of Engagement" is still scheduled to air on CBS during the 2006-2007 midseason. Oliver Hudson, Patrick Warburton, Bianca Kajlich and Megyn Price also star in the Sony Pictures Television-based half-hour, which comes from creator Tom Hertz.
