When it's time to plan a party for Jeff's birthday, everyone gets involved. But Audrey is spending a little too much time on planning the party, which makes Jeff unhappy. Although Jeff won't reveal what he usually gets in the annual birthday deal, Adam brings up the subject with Jennifer and is then worried when Jennifer not only agrees to give him a birthday deal, but announces she wants to get one in return. Meanwhile, Russell is obsessed with trying to figure out what Jeff's birthday present really is.

This episode was better than the pilot.. again Warburton is the lead of this show.. Spade does a good job of clever and fun interaction between all the cast, a fun sitcom worth watching. The relationship between "the new couple" is always, the weak point, their chemistry isn't as good as I wished, but, that's not to say that each of these characters aren't entertaining when dealing with the rest of the crew.
Again, a show in progress, very funny, and worth the watch, makes ya anticipate the coming episode.
I didn't necessarily have high hopes for this show, but after this week - I don't think it will ever make a permanent spot on any network. hide show
Wow, just about sums this show up. After last week, we found that there were "birthday deals" in the making for a few characters. This show centered only around this theme and after their attempts to try to force comedy into this show, I think I laughed once or twice and wanted to fall asleep more than that. The birthday deal ended up being a review of the first date between the two, which in itself was cute, but the whole show mainly basis itself around sex and I think they would have been better off holding out telling us what the birthday deal was for another episode or so.
