Rumer Willis: Biography
Rumer Glenn Willis was born August 16th, 1988 in Kentucky where her father Bruce was filming the movie In Country.
The young American actress is the daughter of actors Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. Like both of her Sisters, She has appeared in several of her parents' movies since early childhood.
Rumer's first appearance in a movie was alongside her mother in 1995, in the movie Now and Then, with the role of Angela Albertson.
After graduating high school, she attended USC for a few semesters, until she decided to pursue acting full time.
- Rumer: People tell me all the time that I look my mom. I see the resemblance, sometimes. There was a picture in a magazine about look-a-like mothers and daughters and I saw that I looked exactly like her - which is great. I hate my jaw. I don't know if it's my dad's - I think I'm more like my mother, my littlest sister looks exactly like my dad and my middle sister is a mixture of the two.(edit)
- Rumer: If people call me a lesbian because I have short hair and I wear jeans instead of dresses, then by all means, run with it. I think it's hilarious.(edit)
- Rumer: (on guest starring on Miss Guided) I've never done TV, but when Ashton was working on it, I heard about it and thought that was a cool idea. I never went to 'high school high school,' so the opportunity to do stuff like that is so much fun.(edit)
- Rumer: I think it's definitely hard growing up in L.A. with all of the things that you have to deal with, and being so young. I think sometimes people don't realize the amount of pressure that can come.(edit)
- Rumer: (about her love for music) In the future, I would love to do an album. I have been singing since I was really little which not a lot of people know about so it's one of those fun, personal things.(edit)
- Rumer: Being famous isn't about going to parties... it's about being able to use the power that we all have to kind of give back.(edit)
- Rumer: (on fame) It's a 24-hour job. It doesn't matter if you are going out to a restaurant – you have to be aware of what you are doing and how you look and how you are presenting yourself, because most of the time people never get to know you.(edit)
