    9.8 Superb

It was a filler... but I liked it:) hide show

I took two points off cuz it was irrelevant to the main plot. Bleh, whatever. Otherwise, it was perfect. The whole plot of the train being taken was sure a little over-used in other animes and various shows, but with this show's light humor made it enojyable with some suspense included. Sanosuke's fear of trains and the taking of pictures made me laugh, the animation I felt was sorta misplaced in this anime, but was ok this once. The one thing that was weird (not bad, weird) was how Kenshin's horse jumped like 25 feet in the air... strange. So overall I really liked this episode, nice humour, action, suspense, all of that good stuff.

    8.8 Great

Kenshin and his friends are on a train trip but bad theifs plan to steal the gold from the trains. hide show

I seen hundrens of episodes where the good guys ends up in a train robbery. The plot of the episode is somewhat predictable. The weird animation from 'To save a small life' is back in this episode. Sanosuke's fear of trains and fear of cameras started in this episode, which I found funny. One thing I found strange in this episode is that Kenshin is riding a horse that can jump 20 feet in the air and defeat all the train robbers. What a strange horse. I did enjoy this episode.

Kaoru: He's still quivering in fear somewhere. []
  • Kaoru: That was a close one.
Sanosuke: I could've sworn I told you to stay out of this. []
  • Kaoru: I wonder what's taking Yahiko and Kenshin so long to get back, it's getting kinda late.
Sanosuke: Like I said before, they woke up, and were in a sewer. []
