girl looks like a man hide show

well this was an ok one, the story in it was actually really good, all about friendship and stuff and promises, it was sweet. but the girl looked like a guy, it annoyed me the whole time. raye annoyed me too cuz she is so uch like serena its annoying! not cuz shes like her cuz she doesnt do the whinny stuff but its annoying that she acts like they are nothing alike! as if! she is so full of herself! any who the monsters in this were lame... well no they did have the posiblity of being good but nooo they started arguing to soon at least let the scouts do something to save themselfs! so predictable though, they way they started toargue! but yea that sailor V thing was stupid! why would serena like it so much when she is a salior scout her self?!?! i just dont get it!

Nephrite's monster possesses an anime artist's pen. The two monsters he assigned to defeat the sailor scouts use their own techniques against them. When they argue about who will finish the sailor scouts off, their teamwork is broken. hide show

Okay. First of all, this could have been made into something meaningful, to show that monsters can use teamwork, too. However, after one round of using attacks, they just up and decide to break the bond they had.

    Completely ridiculous.

Don't get me wrong; I realize this is a show meant for young girls, and that it's really not supposed to get all that deep, but come on! Nephrite said their bond was strong, and so that's what I expected. Instead, we're treated to a small dose of monster teamwork, but before we can worry about how Serena and friends will make it out of this, the monsters' teamwork is already broken.

  • Both Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars combine their powers with Sailor Moon's tiara attack in this episode. Sailor Mars will do this a few more times this season, but this is the only time Sailor Mercury will. []
  • An episode that takes place between "Who Is That Masked Man?" and this episode was cut from the dub version. In the episode, Serena, Amy, and Raye go to a seaside hotel that turns out to be inhabited by ghosts. []
  • Red Gemini Twin: I'll finish them off!
Blue Gemini Twin: Oh, no. You don't get all the glory!
Red Gemini Twin: But my fireball defeated them!
Blue Gemini Twin: Wrong! It was my bubbles!
Red Gemini Twin: Please! My fireballs go against your bubbles any day!
Blue Gemini Twin: Oh, right! Stupid! Gimme a break! Can it!
Red Gemini Twin: Why do you always have to be so stubborn?!
Blue Gemini Twin: Stubborn?! You're not only stubborn! You're stupid! []
  • (after the Gemini twins uses the same attacks as them)
    Sailor Mercury: My bubbles!
Sailor Mars: I don't get it! Mars' power is mine! []
  • Raye: Ok, I'll meet you after school. This isn't some bogus scheme so you can see the studio and then meet Sailor V?
Serena: (sarcastically) No, and is obnoxious your middle name. []
