A few minimal scenes cut from the dub of this episode are Serena shouting (in response to Amy saying, "Feel free to ask me anything anytime guys!") Sailor Moon: (After Amy's crytal is removed; to Kaorinite) You evil sow, give that crystal back to her! Amy's the kindest and smartest person I know! (Heartsnatcher attacks Sailor Moon; after getting up) She has what it takes to become a great doctor, and you're taking it away! You can't do this; she's my special friend! (A tear appears in Amy's eye.) (edit) (Amy comes into Raye's house and everyone starts asking her questions about her homework. Serena pushes everyone out of the way.)
Serena: (Shouting) Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Get out of Amy's face right now! She's not your personal answerbook, so leave her alone!
Mina: Was that Serena?
Lita: It looked like her, but it didn't sound like her.
Raye: Should we take her temperature?
Serena: What a joker! (edit) (After the Heart Snacther has appeared)
Heart Snatcher: (In muffled voice due to having a snorkle in her mouth) How's the water?
Amy: What'd you say?
Heart Snatcher: (Removes snorkel) How's the water? You've been questioning the direction in which your life is going, but once I snatch your pure heart crystal, you won't even care! (Traps Amy in a tentacle of water, slams her against the wall, and hardens the water around her so she can't move.) (edit)

When Amy's crystal is removed from her, Amy's head falls below her shoulders, so that the top of her head is touching the glass window she is held against. When her face is then zoomed in on while Serena is saying that Amy is her best friend, not only is the side of her head now touching the window, but it is also somehow above her shoulders again. (edit) When Amy is trapped by the hardened water, she alternates between being wrist-deep to elbow-deep in the water. (edit) At one point, while the Heart Snacther is taking Amy's heart crystal, the beam is white instead of black. (edit) When Serena notices the purple glow emnating from the swimming pool area where Amy has her heart taken, the glow stops after a few seconds, though Amy is still having her heart taken. (edit) In the extended version of this episode where Amy is thrown into the wall by the Heart Snatcher, water can be seen falling below Amy's arm, yet somehow her hand is still drenched when the rest of the water hardens and traps her. (edit)
