She goes to the talent show to watch everyone else, but the celebrity turns into a monster and freezes everyone! Serena transforms into Sailor Moon to fight, but she becomes frozen solid! Tuxedo Mask breaks her block of ice with a rose, then Sailor Moon destroys the monster with a Moon Tiara Vaporize attack.

Notes

add »
The name of today's Yoma is: Dereela (edit)
Japanese Title: 「うさぎ反省!スターの道はきびしい」 - "Usagi Learns a Lesson! The Road to Stardom is Tough" (edit)
the song "I Wanna be a star" plays in this episode. (edit)
Because some stuff is cut out of every DiC episode, an extra scene with Queen Beryl was added in this version. She did not appear in the Japanese version of this episode. (edit)
much like the japanese version Serena and Molly are singing to the opening theme. But in Japan, they didn't have to worry about singing about 'Sailor Moon' since the opening theme for season 1-4 dosn't even mention Sailor Moon. (edit)

Quotes

Melvin: Hey, Molly, look at this move for our routine!
Molly: (freaked out) I told you not to tell anyone!
Melvin: Oh, then I won't tell them how you begged me to do it either! (edit)

Trivia

add »
With this episode, we learn how badly Serena can sing and this will carry on through the rest of the series. (edit)
•Two episodes before this and after "Slim City" were skipped. The first one advanced the plot slightly, explaining how Luna became Serena's new pet. However, Sammy is afraid of cats. The episode was skipped because Sammy kicked Luna. Luna also tossed a cute animal over a fence (though the animal was evil). The second episode was skipped because Serena used "Disguise Power" to turn into an adult, quite prostitute-resembling. She also used her new look to sneak into a bar, where she ordered a root beer, not to mention getting in the car with a man she just met. Not a very good influence, eh?
•A scene of Serena clobbering Melvin with a streamer is cut, but it can still be scene in the "Sailor Says!" at the end of the episode.
•When Serena sees the monster and runs away, a scene where she accidentally runs into the male restroom is cut.
•The big pink music notes that float from the juke box when Serena and Molly are singing the 'Sailor Moon' theme didn't exist in the original.
•The reason Sailor Moon used 'Moon Tiara Vaporize' instead of the normal 'Moon Tiara Magic' was because, in one of the skipped episodes, Sailor Moon threw the tiara and the dust sprinkled down and healed hypnotised people. Since DiC skipped the episode, they changed the name of the attack temporarily.
•much like the japanese version Serena and Molly are singing to the opening theme. But in Japan, they didn't have to worry about singing about 'Sailor Moon' since the opening theme for season 1-4 dosn't even mention Sailor Moon.
•In the, "Today on Sailor Moon" segment, DIC uses two scene from the prior episode, Slim City.
•This is the last episode where it is just Sailor Moon.
•Because some stuff is cut out of every DiC episode, an extra scene with Queen Beryl was added in this version. She did not appear in the Japanese version of this episode.
•the song "I Wanna be a star" plays in this episode.
