Talk Radio

Episode Number: 2    Season Num: 1    First Aired: Tuesday September 12, 1995    Prod Code: C02
There's a new late-night radio station called the "Loveline" where teens write love letters and can win fabulous prizes. It seems that Mrs. Haruna (Serena's teacher, who she calls Mrs. H) actually won! The next day, she comes to school with her prize, a purple flower, on her shirt. She is also very sleepy. She falls to sleep in class and must go to the hospital for this odd energy loss. Luna gets suspicious and can't find this radio station listed in any papers. Serena just thinks she's a party pooper. The next winner is Molly, who also gets a purple flower. Molly is also very sleepy. Serena tries to wake her up but passes out upon touching her. After dreaming about the "hunkster" Tuxedo Mask, she wakes up and finds herself in the hospital, resting. Molly is also there. It seems that purple flower is draining people's energy. Serena and Luna head over to the radio station and sneak in using a new "Disguise Power." They go to this bogus Loveline and get on air, telling everyone to burn those bogus prizes. The host, who is really Jedite (Beryl's henchmen) in disguise, sends a monster to attack Serena. She escapes to the roof and transforms into the Sailor Moon to fight the beast. She destroys it with her tiara, then takes on Jedite. She fails miserably, but is rescued by Tuxedo Mask. Jedite escapes and his Negaverse plot is stopped.
